No, I don't think it's that.

https://www.humblebundle.com/store

Papers, Please is less than £3 (£2.49 fact fans). FOR SEVEN HOURS ONLY AND COUNTING DOWN.

Shit, I've just noticed that Gone Home is £2.99 FOR THREE HOURS ONLY. From now, so 2AM if you live in England. If you live in Japan you've missed it. Or maybe you have longer, like 12 hours. Look, to be honest, I'd check yourself.

There's currently a load of free credit to be had in the Amazon Android app store. You can do some trivial stuff for £9 or go a bit further for £24. The selection in the Amazon app store isn't as good as Google Play but there's enough in there that free £9's worth of stuff isn't to be sniffed at.

If you haven't already, just install the Amazon app store on your Android device and log into your Amazon account on the app which then allows you to buy Android apps from the website.

The easy £9 is then just a case of going to the Amazon web site (not the app!) and 'buying' the following currently free apps:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007D2XSW0
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BD6EJRK
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004YF6MHW
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B005J0VPNC
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00HES6HBM
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00IRJPDJY
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007N82W4E
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ESCJG1U
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00795P4EG

Each one earns you 100 'Amazon coins' which is worth a quid in the app store so £9 profit.

And if you want to go a bit further you can buy the Kindle Fire version of GTA San Andreas from the Amazon site here (even if you don't own a Fire which I don't) which will cost you 499 of the coins you've just earned but get another 2000 back; taking your overall 'profit' up to £24.01.

I've just done it and it works fine, you coins balance goes up within minutes of buying the various apps.

I sometimes grab the 'free app of the day' if it's an interesting looking game which I didn't realise also sometimes nets you free coins so having looked at my account because of all this I've got near enough £28 in credit; that's like a year's worth of Android software for me. Granted not everything I'm after will turn up on the Amazon app store but a good chunk of it will.

Snap

They have said there will be some bundles that are 'new' in this run , however if you started collecting these late then its a good chance for a lot of games for not a lot of cash

Sometimes you can buy stuff off the US site and sometimes you can't, I'm not entirely sure how it decides what you get access to.

Another amazon 'thing' is on as well if you want some cheap PC steam (or Origin) titles

This is a link to a spreadsheet with the games on offer and their costs

https://www.dropbox.com/s/1gsm1p6rfl5a1 ... 52114.xlsx

And here are instructions on how to buy stuff from Amazon.com

viewtopic.php?p=819109#p819109

Some example prices :

Syndicate & The Saboteur $4.70 / £2.78

http://www.amazon.com/Syndicate-Saboteu ... eur+Bundle

Batman mega pack Arkham Asylum / City / Origins with all DLC $22.50 / £13.30

http://www.amazon.com/Batman-Mega-Bundl ... ega+Bundle

Rockstar Ultimate Collection Bully / GTA 3 / GTA 4 / GTA Vice City / GTA Episodes from Liberty City / GTA San Andreas / LA Noire / Manhunt / Manhunt 2 / Max Payne 2 / Max Payne 3 / Midnight Club 2 $25.49 / £15.11

http://www.amazon.com/Rockstar-Ultimate ... Collection

Dont Die Pack AVP / Binary Domain / Condemned / Warhammer 40k / Typing of the dead overkill / $9.49 / £5.62

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K88T898/ref ... NM27HJAS9N

** Be careful of anything from Deep Silver (Saints Row / Dead Island) because they will be region locked but virtually everything else isnt)

I do have Injustice on PS4 and its a reasonable game (although nothing special on the PS4 version) but under £13 for a digital 'full' PS4 game is quite reasonably priced.

£4 for the first two Batman games is really good as well, if I was ever getting near my consoles at the moment I'd be tempted to play Arkham Asylum through again for that price.

You can sign up for an 18-month 'Digital Pack Premium' subscription on http://www.thetimes.co.uk for £7 a month at the moment and get a complimentary iPad mini. I work that out to be £126, which is more than £100 off the price of a new one.

I'm just wondering now what the catch is, other than having to live with the shame of putting money in Murdoch's pockets.

Scrap that, I need to learn to fucking read. It's £7 a week.

Isn't that a bit of a kick in the teeth to all the people that actually bought the game and thus supported them through all the issue they've had since launch? Your reward is that other people get stuff for free! Woo!

Seems fair enough now they've got an equally broken sequel out. This game is 2.5 years old now.

Still won't touch it though, because Origin.

I went in and grabbed it anyway because it's always looked like a really pretty game and I fancy seeing how the single player version looks on my machine. While I was in there I noticed that Plants vs. Zombies™ Game of the Year Edition is also free at the moment here:

Heh, d'oh, I didn't realise it wasn't the latest one we were talking about. Shows how little attention I pay to these things!

A Nintendo keyboard, sold! (Plus, I could do with a bluetooth keyboard.)

Just got one of these. It's really, really nice. Ta.

I too have got one of these and it's ace! The keyboard is really nice.

I got one of these for the Grimlet to work on his typing. The keyboard is indeed very nice, and it comes with a cute "DS Stand", too.
