A few of the same ones, but still highly recommended. I assume the ones I haven't read will be of a similar quality to the last set, which was surprisingly high.

There's some really good stuff in that new bundle, well worth it.

Cool. I read all of the previous batch and almost all of them were really good, and even the rest were still okay. Wish I could afford to actually read all of all of the stories, but comics are so effing expensive compared to books.

70% off – Original price £7.99/€9.99
PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate

If you register with this site here: http://www.dlh.net/, then in your profile there are a few games which are free to download on Steam:
Enclave
East India Company Gold Edition
Knightshift
Knights and Merchants HD
Pirates of Black Cove
Commander - Conquest Of The Americas
Two Worlds - Game of the Year Edition

The site is a horrendous mix of German and English, but you should be able to find your way around it. Games aren't brand new, and possibly not the best, but free stuff!

It might be added to it later - there are typically another one or two games added to the bundle later.

Apparently Tesco are clearing PS3s for as little as £50 - try your local store and see if you get lucky.

Know the Bundle Stars, do you? Already written it off? Maybe you're right. But they had me at £1.99 for Stronghold 3, Steamy key. Also Pixel Boy, IO, Revenge of the Titans, Nam (a game so old and average that it barely counts), Eradicator, Terrian Saga, Sentinel, Legends of Aetherus, Shiny the Firefly.

Looks like the sort of place that you have to make some effort to cancel recurring box delivers though.

I used these guys for about 8 months. Really good, especially if it's just you and your other half to worry about.
Cancelled as after that amount of time it was getting a bit samey. To start with the recipes are actually really interesting and varied, but after about 3 months you start to see the same themes with minor variations, and after 6 months they started to repeat recipes.

I really recommend it, very easy to deal with the company and it massively improved my cooking skills. It does take a bit of effort though, it's about a hour each night cooking, not the 30 minutes they say.

That's a cracking deal. If you click the Developer Apps link at the bottom it's actually all Future publications (that I've tried so far). Good selection of issues downloaded, cheers!

Don't know how it would, it just made a past issue free in their 'store' part of the newstand app, but yeah, I'll check for anything recurring.

Yeah, in the same way you can buy individual issues as well as a subscription. It's made very clear when you initiate a recurring sub.

There is some sort of sale on on Steam at the moment, among which is Torchlight II at 80% off, so less than 4 euro, whatever that is in Brit money.

The latest Humble Bundle (Monochomatic) is pretty good value if you like weird indie puzzle shit. I mostly picked it up for the beautifully bleak looking exploration of Naissance but there's other stuff in there to like as well:

  • Escher-y puzzler The Bridge.
  • Light-and-shade manipulator Closure.
  • The striking monochrome headfuck of Betrayer (aside from NaissancE this is the only other one that was actually on my wishlist).
  • The long-necked and unintelligible looking batshittery of Oquonie. (Note that this is OSX only which I've just noticed!)
  • The probably actually very finite nightmares of Neverending Nightmares.

10% off anything on the PSN store

Code : L5MFCEP358

https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/legal ... scount-uk/

Its one of the banner ads on the main part of the store - there are some restrictions (looks to be not allowed on pre-orders) but it does stack with your PS+ discount - and only valid for today

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter and Octodad: Deadliest Catch are 60% and 67% off, respectively, on Steam. Don't be fooled by the price displayed for Ethan Carter in the splash popup of Steam, it's showing the normal price, not the discounted one, or it did for me, at least.

Pixel Piracy should be great, as it's a great idea and nicely made, but I tried it a few times a few months back and it was a sack of shit. I wonder if it has got any better?

Just noticed that John Lewis online and in store are selling iPad mini 3 (16gb model only) for £249, which is £70 off, and only a tenner more than the mini 2 (yes, I am aware that the only tangible difference between the 2 and 3 is a fingerprint scanner)

I have a 16gb Mini 2. My next iPad will be bigger than 16gb. It's not quite enough.

I actually wish the 3 was a meaningful upgrade, I was wanting to be tempted into buying one, but holding the two side by side, I could barely tell the difference.

Humble Origin Bundle 2 - I think I already have all of these :-(

Quote:
An origin story where you're the superhero. Thanks to Electronic Arts and Origin forgoing profits from this bundle, all of the proceeds that would ordinarily go to them are instead going to charity. This means you can help out some amazing charities by simply buying games! Pay what you want for Dragon Age™: Origins, Peggle™, Dead Space™ 2, Command & Conquer™ Generals + Zero Hour, and Medal of Honor Allied Assault™ War Chest. Pay more than the average to get all of that plus Plants vs. Zombies™ Garden Warfare, Dragon Age™ II, Bejeweled™ 3, and Mass Effect™ 2.

BTA is currently about £3.30

Right now you can pre-order (yeah, I know, worse than Hitler) 2 games at Tesco for £80 and use code TDX-KNHT to get a tenner off orders over £75 making them £35 each.
