I'm in a sewing shop because Helen needs a new sewing machine.

There's a brand called Pfaff, which for me narrows things down a lot. Good job it's not for me perhaps.

Arvo Pärt's 'Spiegel im Spiegel' was just played on the radio. One of the most calming pieces of music ever written and just what I needed to hear this morning.

To The Moon was a crummy made game on the PC that made me cry.

Now there’s To the Moon 2! Called “2 the Moon” which is a terrible title but at least it avoids having a 2 and a to.

Anyway, the trailer is shit (below) but it’s bound to be more tearful goodness for big saps like me.

Did you know When Marnie was Here was on Film 4 over the weekend. I managed to record the last sodding twenty minutes. Tch.

Leeds Armoury is awesome. I know some people who have been to handling sessions there - getting to hold and wave about genuine bits of antique kit - and they had a cracking time. Also, there is a suit of armour for an elephant.

Bad sex scenes in books shortlist

There are some corkers!

“He tips her back and lays her on the dissecting table. She takes off her skirt, spreads her legs and tells him: ‘Fuck me like a machine.’ And while her breasts spill out, Simon begins to flow into her assemblage.

My friends saw "The science of Zombie Killing" where the armourer went to town on gel heads using katanas (waste of time), axes (pretty pro) and halters (fuck! Yeah!) And said it was great.

I have never been :(

I'd tag along to that, espesh if it's an urban site. And if it's not too cold. I've still got a few pew-pews lying around.

Jem'd probably be up for it too.
