Games things I've never played on (not an exhaustive list, mind you, just ones that come to mind)

NES
SNES
Amiga CD32
3DO
Jaguar
Lynx
Game Gear
Sega Saturn
Sega Dreamcast
Xbox One
PS4
Wii U
DS (original)
3DS

Ones I have played on:

Mega Drive
PlayStation 1, 2 and 3
Xbox and Xbox 360
Amstrad GX4000
Wii
Switch
PSP (original)
DS Lite

Probably missed some off both lists.

Out of those lists, the only one I haven't played on is the GX4000.

Seriously, how have you people never played on a Dreamcast?

I never really knew anyone that was still into Sega stuff by the time the DC came out.

I think the list of popular consoles I've not played on is pretty short -

PS4
Xbox One
Wii U
Switch
PS Vita

Despite its little quirks (VMUs, controller cable leading from the bottom of the controller not the top, twin memory card slots, being a bit unreliable etc), the Dreamcast is probably my second favourite console after the Gamecube.

I think it's pretty obvious that the Dreamcast is my favourite console. Closely followed by the Saturn but the Switch is giving that a run for its money.

I think I had a Dreamcast... I remember a VMU that didn't work.

Always wanted a Saturn for Panzer Dragoon Saga.

I've just googled for the list of supported Dreameye games and there were just two - DreamPhotoFun and Visual Park, which might explain why I've never seen one.

I did have the microphone for Seaman and I've got a few keyboards for Typing of the Dead though

I've got DBSnappa's old Saturn with Sega Rally, Daytona and Virtua Fighter 2 on. What else should I get for it that isn't silly money?

Ready to Rumble
Crazy Taxi
Powerstone

I enjoyed Resi on there (Veronica)

You can download ISO's of most Dreamcast titles and dump them onto a disk which the system will play

Sega Ages is usually pretty affordable - Out Run, Space Harrier and After Burner II

Yip - i misread it , did not play much on the Saturn , knights into dreams , Virtua Fighter , and Fighting ... Vipers? - and of course the light gun games but I expect those to be expensive and the guns to be difficult to find

Get yourself an action replay and send it to me. I'll put on some special software that will let you play backups which you'll then be able to download from the internet.

Not yet but I'm going down to part time hours first starting in September.

I played the original Street Fighter in the arcade back in the day but I've never played the original Street Fighter arcade cabinet with the pressure sensitive buttons. I read that the cabinets didn't last long because the massive pads that you smashed didn't have any longevity.

I played one once in Blackpool I think. It was actually quite a shit experience because you didn't know how hard to hit them to get each of the different strengths, also punching real life things is much slower and more cumbersome than just tapping a button.

I played the arcade cabinet once , and hurt my hands trying to slam the buttons really hard because obviously they were going to do so much more damage when you whacked them (at least they made a satisfying noise for doing it) - it was only much much later i found out they really just had 3 levels ;-)
