I, quite frankly, don't give a shit about how much BBC employees are paid. If anything, it all seems a bit low

It's just another stick for its commercial rivals to thrash the BBC with. I still think the Beeb is one of the best things about this country, and something we should be proud of.

Presumably Evans' pay includes his stint on Top Gear.

The BBC is a gem, it would/will be sorely missed if/when it's gone.

Not sure where the push for this came from? Also read that a lot of people the BBC pay are not included on the list as they are paid through production company's. David Dimbleby, David Attenborough and Mary Berry are not on any list. So its not really a complete picture.

Yes there are some gender gaps on pay, but no data to see how the BBC stack up against commercial channels.

Is it me, or are the female presenters on BBC Breakfast a lot more dolled up since the pay revelations? They all suddenly seem to have on extra-nice dresses and to have spent several hours in hair and makeup every morning since....

I'm fully prepared to accept that it's just me imagining things in my pre-morning-caffeine brain.

The idea of me dolled up, though... I mean, my appearance scares small children as it is.
