You're in for some treats! Out of them all I'd say you MUST watch:

My Neighbour Totoro
Spirited Away
Princess Mononoke

You won't regret making the time to watch them. Get your pyjamas on, a round tub of really nice ice cream, a big squishy blanket.

Last time Zardoz told me to watch Totoro I did, and I always forget that it makes me cry. Sat in my pyjamas, wrapped in my blanket, face full of Ben & Jerrys Peanut Butter Cup, snuffling a few tears and saying 'stupid Zardoz'.

Spirited Away

This is the best one, IMO. It's just properly beautiful.

Seconded, but you MUST ALSO watch NausicaƤ of the Valley of the Wind. Pre-Ghibli but it's one of the best from Miyazaki before he set up Studio Ghibli.

And When Marnie Was There, cause I love it and it made me cry. Beautiful soundtrack too.

There's loads of great ones and if you need a fat list of those to watch (or avoid) I'm on hand!

I really liked Ponyo, but we watched it during a huge downpour, so the atmosphere was perfect

I see that there's a Top Gun 2 on the way now too.
