Like it can have fish sauce in it, but if we turn up at MeatUp and the only meat is fish sauce I think there's gonna be like a riot or something.

This weekend was WarmUp, a MeatUp trial run.

It went rather well.

Some people took photos. I didn't.

That am true!

I still owe you the brass for it, oops. PM PayPal details or bank transfer, if you haven't already, which you almost certainly have.

Um, which one is the Tinkers again? Oop in theory!

On the topic of barbecues I bought a couple of these last week, holds 12 chicken drum sticks and lets you avoid turning etc

This was the first time I used them, was cooking on my Kadia fire pit.

Results were inconclusive as I didn't really put enough fuel in the Kadia so they required 10 minutes in the oven to finish them off!

Do you mean Kadai? And if so, is it a genuine one from http://www.kadai.co.uk ?

I don't know anything about barbecuing (or cooking in general) but that contraption seems to hold the far end of the drumstick so far away from the actual coals that I'd doubt it's ability to every cook them properly. I don't think I'd risk eating anything coming off that.

I assume you put a lid on for the actual cooking, and with a lid there's no reason that wouldn't work.
