I am on a customer site and so bored. On the plus side a lot of good looking ladies, so visually distracting.

This is I think the third time they've done this kind of thing; there's a load of the previous sets here if you haven't seen them:

I didn't realise there were so many Z-tier Marvel characters.

Where is that? It'd be nice to go drinking somewhere that Gaywood could get served.

If your only experience of Marvel stuff is the films then you're not going to have heard of a lot of their characters for sure, but they've been building a comics universe for decades and you can't instantly dump all that into cinemas without it being an incomprehensible shitshow.

Can't recall the last time I actually knew who was at the top of the charts. I bet it was about fifteen years ago or more.

I just had to look up who "Ed Sheeran" is. Apparently, it's some ginger-haired and bearded guy who, to my eyes at least, looks very much like a Morris Dancer. Blimey.

One of the most toe-curlingly poorly-thought through things in current radio is Classic FM's album chart on Sunday night. Hearing the presenter try to make us care that a particular compilation of excerpts has 'risen seven places' or that another compilation with roughly the same tracks has missed the top spot is painful.

I had no idea who he was either until I bought a copy of 'GQ' for a recent journey and he was the cover star.

Meh, and there's me and Mrs C rockin' out to Maiden, prancing round the lounge to The Stones (new Blue Lick album - class!) or Northern Soul - or even just mellowing out to Jimmy Fontana like we were this Saturday last, lol.
I can't help but feel kids these days are missing something...? When I was young, people my age were forever complaining that I, and others of my ilk rebelled too much. Now, roles reversed, I find myself complaining they don't rebel *enough*... it's really most odd, and a little sad.

In a society where rebellion is expected, marketed and commoditised, conformity is the ultimate subversive act.

At least with Diamond Head putting out a new album last year, I can say I listened to something fairly recent. Perhaps won't go down as a classic, but I'm enjoying it. :) Although there was one line of a song I googled as I wasn't sure what they were saying and it turned out to be 'Can I come inside your wizard sleeve?'. Poetry :)

Eh, fair enough. I like practically all music, though.

Except for Stomzy when he says "bewts" instead of "boots".
