Because you not asleep.

Alternatively:
Because of the day I can go to the gym and get back to you on the next day or so to make it a bit more than a few days ago and I have been looking for a new job in the future and the future of the day I can go to the gym.

In Milton Keynes to see the Oxford City Stars play away. The rink here is far more impressive and modern than Oxpens. They even have plastic screening rather than nets! This is just like switching from a youth hostel to a Travelodge.

Birmingham, today. Lovely start to the week. A sales meeting where we talk about The Number and what we are going to do to make The Number better. As I am not bonused on The Number (not at all, in fact), it is all a bit immaterial to me. Hopefully, I'll be back so MrsA can attend the charity meeting. Still, I am sat by myself on the train, as my boss reserves a seat and I never do (for this reason), and I cannot be doing (northern phrase, MaliA, watch it) with the upbeat demeanour of one of my more high end account managers (the account, not the manager) this early. I have less than 50℅ charge on my phone, and the Kindle (reading Neuromancer again, so I can then get to Count Zero, then Overdrive) is running out. Monday, monday, monday.

I was sniggering away at the 'Bugle' on the train this morning and the lady in the seat in front of me kept on turning round and giving me black looks. Forgive me for being merry on a Monday.

Turn to your invisible companion and say "See? I told you she wasn't deaf".

How do I start a letter to a committee? Dear Sir or Madam doesn't seem right. To whom it may concern?

No, it might be different every time. I'm submitting my ethical clearance form for my final project. I'm just not sure how I aught to start the email.

I've just had part of my appraisal at work... One of the questions said "State your understanding of your current role and main duties"

So, I did. I said "I understand my current role and main duties"

Apparently they wanted me to list my main duties. They should have said.

Then you are also wrong. Anyway, I laughed it off and went with my usual "I don't really care" attitude and everything is fine!

I might be wrong but the original story was reported in The Daily Star with the most hilarious "quotations" throughout.

I timed my walk to the railway station to coincide with the heaviest blasts of rain and hail. All cleared up by the time I got to work, but I'm now rather soggy.

I love it when that happens. Still, console yourself with the old English saying, "there's no such thing as bad weather, there are just the wrong clothes".

I don't know how clear this is, but there's a window in Main Street, USA (Eurodisney) with a sign "We print the news before it happens".

Seems quite topical

I also figured it was Forza 4, but maybe if I'd played 5 I would have wondered about it a bit.

Rev Stu needs to get a better internet connection. Whilst I agree that the updating of games is a pain, the always on option on the Xbox One means that I never see an update screen on games that I have installed. New games are a different matter so yeah, I agree with that.

Anyway.. I'm over the Xbox One. I'll be all about the Switch in a weeks time.

For the last few weeks there's been a sign on the door to the grandest room at work informing users that 'the two chandeliers by the widows' are out of order. I must remember to get a photo of this before they take it down.
