It was actually "What's the name of your firstborn?"

Is it, "what game shall we make prisoners play in Guantanemo Bay so that they talk?"

Fucking ugh! It seems that my office's network is blocking some script or other embedded in the Eurogamer site so when I try to visit any page if gives me a brief, tantalising glimpse of the content I want then replaces it with some shitty 'page load' error (like some custom one, not something that's coming from the browser itself). I don't know how to work out what's triggering it so I can adblock it into fucking oblivion.

Does Chrome have a text-only or simple layout option?

I've no idea but your comment did make me think to try it's mobile device emulation and when it tells the site it's running a smaller screen device the site loads okay. It's a pretty ridiculous workaround mind.

This is the page body content it's loading as an iFrame embedded in the Eurogamer frame.

Navigated to that in Chrome and it said it was blocked by an ad-blocker.
Edit: Same in IE, so I guess it's the page itself.

Yeah, the actual 'error' messages you're seeing there are the content of that page itself. Presumably there's a script somewhere on the EG pages that redirects to that if can't loads what it wants.

We get to leave 90 minutes early on a Friday preceding a Bank Holiday Monday, for some odd reason. Unfortunately I have organised to pick the child up at a specific time, so am limited in what I can do.

:this: it's going to be weird, though. I think it's probably been about fifteen years since I was apart from my wife for more than two days and our daughter never.

Off to Berlin on Sunday morning for 4 days. It's a city I've wanted to visit for a very long time and am looking forward to it.

It's incredible, especially East Berlin. You'll have a great time!

It's superb. Unusually for a major city it felt great to visit as a tourist but also appealed as a potential place to live.

Go and have a few beers here http://www.cafeamneuensee.de/ and do one of these walking tours.

There was an Irish chap leading the one we took who was very funny.

Happy Birthday orange fruit and troop'.

In other news, my Berlin trip is looking highly unlikely due to a certain airline company and it's catastrophic IT collapse

I've heard there's a quality festival going on in August if you need to rethink your holiday plans.
