Tell them that you can't and then go sit in your car playing Zelda: Breath of the Wild. This is what I do.

I found a Royal white horse at lunch time. It's lovely.

So, after hearing that Trump wasn't going to do the Correspondents' Dinner (quelle fecking surprise, man with no ability to laugh at himself), we decided to watch the last George W one. God, it's a terrible situation where you start feeling nostalgic for the GWB years.

I went to the Brecon waterfall country at the weekend. Normally when I go to a national park I'll just head for the biggest hill but I decided to go here instead. It's a really beautiful area with rivers and falls surrounded by forests. The kind of place where I'd be quite happy to return to with a bottle of wine and good book on a lazy afternoon.

Rob Newmans Neuropolis, radio 4 - Rob Newman misunderstanding elements of brain science and then explaining why the scientists were wrong to think what he mistakenly thought they thought. And he's still using s very old photo of himself. Twat.

Seriously Mali - worth you having a listen and getting cross at his bizarre pseudo-science anti-science approach. In the current episode he misunderstands what the Turing test actually means and then rails against why that incorrect understanding is wrong and scientists are stupid because they think the Turing test means a computer has proven there's nothing unique or special about human consciousness, then says with utter certainty that one could never achieve the transfer of consciousness from a brain to some form of hardware because of the effect of the endocrine system on brain development in teenagers. I mean, WTAF.

I used to think Rob Newman was brilliant, but these days he's become a sort of well spoken anti-vaxxer equivalent. Experts, eh? Who needs 'em!

No, not really. I miss young(er) Rob Newman. He used to be able to be funny even when he was being preachy - the History of Oil was good, for instance.

Not really worth its own thread, but does anyone know much about the Intellivision? I bought some Atari 2600 cartridges on Ebay and among them are these two -

They're completely different to the Atari carts and more closely resemble some Intellivision carts I already have. Unfortunately, I don't actually have a console to test them on. I don't think either Kung-Fu Master or Wonder Boy were release for the Intellivision, so I'm guessing they're mis-labelled. Unless there's another console that had a similar cartridge design?

Hush now. Don't want to glut the market and destabilise the current exchange rate.

Although it's not a particularly good beer.

I don't have any children of my own, but some of my nieces and nephews are pretty awesome. Plus there are loads of them so no one will mind if I trade in a couple.
