I would agree with that. Brown sauce is just runny poop in a bottle.

You boil in a bag merchants fear THE PORCINE MAGNETRON FOOD OF GREATNESS.

Also, food is ready in 120 seconds, not 496 hours.

To be fair it's a £70,000 microwave.

As for the whole brown sauce/red sauce thing, that's pretty much a north-south divide. Me? I'm largely in league with the "liquid poop in a bottle" brigade as regards brown sauce; it's mostly inedible, food-spoiling muck (pork pies excepted though, obv.), and red sauce ("rockin' 'orse" in true plastic-Mockney speak) is pretty much indispensable. But then, I am Essex through-and-through; gravy on chips (let alone fish FFS) is also wrongness personified.

My one concession after 25 years oop Norf (here in industrialised Cheshire ;) )? Curry sauce on chips is indeed the guv'nor, and I must now concede that saveloys are indeed shit. :p

Try squirting ketchup over the curry sauce (not a huge amount, just a bit across the food, assuming you pour the curry sauce over the food)

I like ketchup for a lot of things but on bacon it just makes it a sickly sweet mess. Brown sauce is king here.

This stuff is basically a bottled premade version of what you're making on top of your chips when you combine curry sauce with ketchup. It's really nice.

I hate the wotd 'butty'. And 'spread' when referring to a collection of food. A special hell is reserved for 'roasties'.

OK gravy on chips I'm prepared to (begrudgingly) forgive someone for (EXTREMELY DEAR TO ME, mind) - but smothering bacon (and sausages FFS, with collateral damage to adjacent fried egg(s)) with... with... maple syrup .... Now that is truly unforgivable; I mean, there's only so much a guy can take. :D

Nah, soz, IDGI.
Maple syrup is for ice cream, otherwise mess off with your near-saturated sugar solution.
