I'll take it to the appropriate thread and not clutter up this thread with spod talk.

I spent £950 on my last PC and that felt pretty extravagant.

~<3.86> on the current Humble Mobile Bundle. Mostly for Mechanic Escape and A Normal Lost Phone, though unWorded looks really interesting and Sanitarium and OK Golf might be cool as well.

Well I said back on Page 1 that the delineating factor this year would be 'new PC' or 'no new PC' :)

Admittedly my thinking at the time was towards 'no new PC', but that was before my current PC decided to start getting occasionally crashy and blue-screeny, which I really don't like at all. (Plus I've been dropping new games down to 1080p and starting to nip away at the various shiny settings to keep at my preferred 60FPS, which has annoyed me as well, when what I really want to do is max things out at 1440p@60Hz - this is something that's stopped being routine in the world of native XBone/PS4 titles, whereas it was rather trivial in the 360/PS3 crossover to XBone/PS4 era.)

It's a fair chunk of cash to drop, but hopefully it won't need any sort of upgrading or tweaking for a few years.

No, I paid £14 to play it.

Why the negative number then? Did you trade some stuff in?

It's the kind of fresh direction that could re-invigorate the Street Fighter franchise after all these years.

Zangief and Dumbo kicking the shit out of each other.

'Spinning trunk whip!'

EDIT - Oh, probably should have done something a bit more profound for my 10,000th post.

I was thinking more the other way. A cutesy platformer, where you can switch between Street Fighter characters to use their special moves to work through the game. I'd buy it.

After buying the Switch, I wasn't going to get a Wii U just yet, but one popped up on eBay with 12 games and I couldn't resist, so <159>

<13.49> on Hob. Despite coming straight off the back of the similar sounding RiME there's nothing in my currently tiny backlog that's really shouting out to me so the glowing Eurogamer review and relatively cheap cost convinced me to give this a go.

That review does make it sound excellent. One for ps+ hopefully.

As do I. I loved Mario Golf on the Gameboy and I believe this is similar. I'll be getting it at some point.
