E-mail or Email?

I've always written "e-mail address", "e-mail" or "e-mail me".

Many people don't use the hyphens, which to me just screams wrong but I often get into debates with clients about it.

E-mail is probably more accurate but I think the hyphen has disappeared over the past twenty years or so.

"E-mail" used to be favoured by a number of the more formal style guides for writing, including the NYT, but I think they have all now moved over to the more common "email." Citation: http://www.theverge.com/2013/10/23/5022 ... ated-style

I think I've mostly moved over to email, but only because when I try to type e-mail it always comes out e-amil the first time.

It's still Internet though.
