I don't even know what these are actually properly called, but I know someone recommended me one when we were talking about audiobooks, or Pokemon go, or Fitbit tracking.

Anyway, even before I felt the need to Catch 'Em All, my long walks often ended in a dead battery because as has been noted I take too many pictures of Darwin, and GPRS tracking of where I go plus listening to audiobooks (or streaming radio) takes its toll on the battery,

Can anyone recommend one if these doodads, then? I guess good things are charge capacity and price, then size?

Cheers, people of BEEX!

I've got one of these and it's awesome. There's also it's slightly smaller baby brother here which I imagine is just as good, but not quite as capacious.

Don't get a dirt cheap one.

They often lack the safety electronics that stop it becoming a nice battery fire.

For all "which gadget shall I buy," just read The Wirecutter.

I also have one of those, and would also recommend the baby brother.

Given that my Android tablet runs out of juice emulating the DS within 30 mins I will need one of these for the end of September. Are Anker the go to brand for these then? and are they even remotely truthful about their MAH ratings?

I don't think it covers bin collections, tomato sauce storage or Parktronic though.

I do actually have one of these. It's a Microsoft branded one.

I've never used it as I'm too scared that it'll blow up.

RC nerds use these with their LiPo packs: http://www.banggood.com/G_T_Power-Porta ... 76493.html :metal:

Edit: Scroll down to second review for their flexibility. :DD
