This is proving more difficult that i thought. I'm using a plain Samsung white keyboard that i bought in 2003 for about 10€. Everytime i bought a different one i ended up returning it. I need a new one with an USB cable (this is still PS2) and sound function keys. Last one i bought that i'll be returning is the Microsoft 600, which has a slight depression in the middle, that while makes it look cool, it makes me miss all the keys. Last resort is one of this HP classic ones, but those remind me too much of offices everywhere. The keyboard should also be under 45,5 cm, which is the length of my current one, and it's already too big. Btw, is every keyboard nowadays black? And i don't want mechanical keyboards because: - They're expensive - They're too noisy, and my wife would kill me. |

I know you said no mech boards but do consider this. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Qisan-Mechanic ... magicforce Recently I gave away a £200 keyboard and mouse as they were fucking huge and got one of those and it's the best board I've ever had. Has a FN key, pretty much everything is there and it's made from Alu with nice white keys on. No fancy crap either, just a fantastic board to type on. |

That keyboard is actually pretty awesome and I would consider even the wrath of my wife, but there isn't one with PT layout, and I'm not ready to go back to high school years where I did my homework on the Amiga, printed it, and then put all the áèçâ and so forth by hand. |

Aww, sorry dude I missed that part  Shame, because you can buy dampers that take away the clack when the key bottoms out. You still get the click of the switch mind but it's far less noisy than the clack. I would say buy it for £30 then buy Portugese keycaps but they would cost you more than the keyboard itself sadly
