In-ear headphones

I looking for a good pair of in-ear headphones, under £150. Sound quality is more important to me than other features, including their having as ‘natural’ a sound as possible.

Any recommend-me-dos from the panel?

I can't really recommend them enough, for the price. They won't be as good as some of the higher-end kit, but they're surprisingly close.

However if you want neutral then about the most neutral sounding pair of headphones I've ever used in my life are Grado.

I don't know much about their in ear range so be sure to do some reading first but yeah, you won't find anything as neutral as Grado. I just Googled them and the ratings are between 4 and 4.5/5.

My sister asked for some in-ear headphones for her birthday, so I did some research on this subject recently. I ended up plumping for these:

I've had two pairs of the JVC ones - the sound quality is pretty good but the build quality isn't particularly great.

I have bought all recent headphones from dx and they genuinely seem good, but I am not an audiophile, so would be interested in knowing how they compare. You might even save £140!

I recently got some that are branded as "233621" which appears to be made by Shenzhen Grandsun in China, but are otherwise fairly mysterious.

Anyway, they seem pretty nifty so far, but I've had them less than a week. Anyone else heard of them?

I bought a pair of these on your recommendation, way back when. I use them all the time and they are still working perfectly.

I got Soundmagic e10 a few months ago and they're the best in-ear cans I've ever had. If you fit them properly (like ear plugs, i.e. Pull the top of your ear up and slightly outwards while inserting them to get a good seal) the sound is noticeably better than just pushing them in single handed and the bass is really superb. Good build quality too. I've been discovering things I've missed on music that I've owned for years when listened to on cheap phones. Can't fault them for under £30.

Huh, I've never tried putting in-ear 'phones in like that, I've always just done a one-handed push at twist (title). Will have to try it.
