Was it a particularly warm weekend? Many drowned, it seems, across the country, and in Kernow.

The Child and I were observing the ducks in the river at the park, when a man walked past us. He had a radio controlled speedboat and quite a large left handed cigarette. He got to the waters edge, and launched the boat into the water. As the current caught it, he looked suddenly at the ground, then turned to me and said "I forgot to turn it on". The three of us watched on in silence as it was swept towards the weir.

Just got a text from someone this morning after I left them a note with the details of the silly twat who we watched reversing into their car. I actually stopped him as he was trying to sheepishly drive away and asked why he wasn't going to leave a note or anything. So we sat there in the car blocking his exit and watched him write his note, put it on their windscreen and then we drove off. But I just had a feeling that he was a bit of a sly shit and so we circled back around after a few minutes and he and the note were gone which was when I left one of my own. Ha.

I don't think it's guaranteed.

The waitresses always used to wear parlour maids outfits, but that's about 15 years ago, so not sure if they still do.
