But of course... you're both right! I'm brilliant I am.

I'm also an Olympic bronze medalist. Remember me winning that? Good times.

Have I mentioned the rubbish idea for secret santa here at work? Where you can steal someone elses present?

Anyway, I'm thinking that my present should be one of those tubes of glitter that explodes when opened. I think it will be amusing.

Oh, it was for a role I have previously interviewed for in October. I will email original recruiter guy and tell him that as they are still looking, time to push me forward again as they have already wasted two months dillydallying and I could have been starting in January.

Hahahah! They should also tell them you've had two months of extra experience, making you even more employable.

Little things that make me happy: queueing at a ticket barrier on the Tube and giving a nod of recognition to a stranger wearing an Oxford City Stars hoodie.

Also: on my way in there were four other people taking the stairs down to the Underground at Marylebone. New record!

I keep on forgetting that parcels weighing over two kilos cost a heck of a lot more than those under that limit. My trip to the post office at lunch was a little hard on the wallet as a result.

Kidlington tourism news now!

The visiting Chinese have made the 'New York Times', only five months after I posted in B&B 46.

The explanation the paper proffers sounds plausible, admittedly.

I've just realized that I don't have Burnout 3 in my collection, which means I must have never played it. I am kind of stunned, actually, I have been living with the idea that I finished all burnout games except Dominator, but it seems I skipped this one, probably because I didn't have a working Xbox at the time I was playing through the other games and didn't fancy playing it on PS2 (I have the Gamecube version of the first two games), and so went straight to Revenge on Xbox 360.

But it's ordered now, and I have something awesome to look forward to!

I've now loaded this up and I am absolutely positive I played it through before, that world map and music selection is quite unmistakable. So why didn't I have the game nor any save games? I never trade in my games, especially classics like this. Mystifying. And an excuse to play it again, of course.

Well chuffed with the cheap 3D printer I got. It's definitely a bit of a learning curve to get the best results out of it but it feels like magic when you're looking at something on the screen and then an hour later holding it in your hands.
