I don't know why there's a trial. His name is Ched. Clearly he cannot be allowed to roam free.

Having not played a FIFA game in many, many, years, FIFA 17 is a joy. It is superb in the control system, pacing and level of detail (like the shaving foam to mark distances). The little practice games on the loading screens with high score boards make it fun to get your eye in and this translates really well into the games. The dynamic skill setting is pretty good, after I as Wednesday stuffed six past a hapless Cardiff, if suggested I raise it a bit and in the next game I slipped to a hard lost 2-1 vs Wolves. With lots of stuff to do online, those with friends have a lot to get I to and Myp needs to practice his free kicks more often as I am topping the list! Superb.

I like the way the league tables update and you can play that week's fixture. It's really neat.

Does anyone remember the game Ghost Castle?

I found it in my mom and dads loft the other day and played it last night with 3 friends. It was great fun and more tense than I remember it being.

Yes. A skull rolls down a tower. You will all die alone. I think I had it.

I remember that. My cousin had it, I think.

It was very simple, IIRC - just roll a die, move along a track, drop a skull cannonball into the tower if you land on a certain space.

If he didn't stand in the door as a Barbarian and hack all the monsters one by one, he did it wrong.

I was the Barbarian. And Ian was the sexy elf. And killed us all once we found Sir Ragnar so he could claim the reward for himself.

I did stand in the doorway and block you from leaving so you had to fight all the orcs by yourself. That was amoose.

The rules state that you may pass through other players as long as they allow it. Ian was not allowing it.

So you twat him with your sword. Or move to another doorway and see which of you the orcs would rather try and deal with.

I thought the Pipettes sang about centripetal motion on Because It's Not Love (But It's Still A Feeling)"
(Track 10 of their debut album) but checking the lines are:

And we Dance (Dance)
And we move a little closer
Dance (Dance)
Oh yeah with that triple motion
Dance (Dance)

So that is disappointing.

That would have been 'cool story, bro' but the added effort of going back a month to find the post to quote downgrades it even from there down to just 'okay.'

It was part way through the first round, if you don't mind.

In the absence of any clear rules we decided you couldn't attack through doors, so much to Ian's delight we had to keep it going.

I used to play something like this at my nans, but it wasn't this. I'm going to have to do some googling.

Yeah, but the Pipettes were awesome.

:This:

I've been considering putting an ad in the local paper along the lines of "WLTM a Pipette. Don't care which one. Call me." So far my married status has prevented this from happening.

Mini fop too is a big fan, her favourite song being Dirty Mind. Which isn't what you want to hear a four year old singing. But at least it isn't one direction.

Gwenno did play Glastonbury this year. I considered going to see her, but she sings entirely in Welsh, so fuck that.
