Amazing

Quote:
Willett has stirred controversy with an article saying that Europe “need to silence the pudgy, basement-dwelling, irritants, stuffed on cookie dough and pissy beer, pausing between mouthfuls of hot dog so they can scream ‘Baba booey’ until their jelly faces turn red”.

He continued: “They need to stun the angry, unwashed, Make America Great Again swarm, desperately gripping their concealed-carry compensators and belting out a mini-erection inducing ‘mashed potato,’ hoping to impress their cousin.

“They need to smash the obnoxious dads, with their shiny teeth, Lego man hair, medicated ex-wives, and resentful children. Squeezed into their cargo shorts and boating shoes, they’ll bellow ‘get in the hole’ whilst high-fiving all the other members of the Dentists’ Big Game Hunt Society.”

I was supposed to be in Bristol all day today for some training thing, but decided to sack it off and come into the office as I've got too much work on. The upshot is that this is the only day in literally weeks where I've had no meetings.I feel a bit bereft.

When in Mexcio a few years ago in an all inclusive I noticed the waiter taking 2 shots of tequila on a tray through the breakfast room at 8am.

I watched where he took it and he gave it to a Mexican guy who must have been 70 or older, he had that for breakfast every day (with other food) :)

It's not even that big a meal. I mean, obviously I didn't SEE the food, but I made a similar lunch to take the piss and it wasn't exactly the biggest thing I've ever eaten.

leaving aside any disagreement on whether that's a thing, I was pointing out the hypocrisy, not judging her on her size. I'm not sure why you'd make that assumption.

'Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme' by Frank McGuiness tonight..

Wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it was very good and funny (as much as anything about the Somme could be). Characters and their relationships with each other were very believable.

I liked being in the stalls (I was in row F) and the view was nowhere near as bad or as hard for the neck as I'd feared. I felt very uncomfortable when on a couple of occasions the cast lined up at the edge of the stage with bayonets fixed. Wouldn't have got that up in the gods.

It's about seven or so years since I last posted here and I didn't want to start a new thread (so I'll disrail this one), but I've obviously missed some stuff and am curious about one thing; what happened to that guy who made big versions of small things (like giant Jaffa Cakes and Mars Bars)? Did he do a flounce? I seem to remember some contretemps at the time but did he actually leave?
