As far as I can tell, by logging on to the site... If I do that, I'll be back down the rabbit hole.
When I was an active user, I thought I'd turned off everything except messages, tags, and wall posts. Clearly not.

To clarify: notifications by email.

Haven't fully decided whether to shut it down fully or just deprecate the account.

I just opened one and pressed the 'unsubscribe' button. Didn't have to log on, and hopefully they'll now cease.

Yep, there might be a few different 'types' to unsubscribe from if they send a catch up email, and a While you were away email, and a Top Activity Email, but you'll get them all. If not, just set up a junk rule in your inbox.

I've been proofreading the numerous text strings used in our company's products this week. A useful exercise, but incredibly dull with it. I think this is my favourite so far -

Quote:
Agent may have to guide the customer to locate the Microphone. The Microphone is internal the phone and hence its invisible. It is near the device mouth piece.

Waiting in a busy London pub to meet someone I met at a reenactment in the US over four years ago. Hopefully he'll recognise me in my civilian garb.

It would make many things easier.

In the event he called me when he was outside, I could see him and was trying to get him to turn round until some bemused member of the public tapped him on the shoulder and pointed at me.

Had a great evening though.

I swear to goodness a Creationist in Walsall town centre just tried to push a leaflet on me, titled 'Was Life Created?' and opened with the line, to my son 'what's your name, little one?'

It was the greatest moment of my life.

I said his name is Darwin, and he asked what made me choose that name, so I said he was named after Charles Darwin and that I'd not likely be his most successful audience. He let me carry on about my day at that point.

Indeed and not to bang on about it too much, but we did toast Owen a couple of times at the cottage. The memorial hat is still going strong as the winner of the quiz receives it. The last I saw of it was on Myps head.
