I just opened one and pressed the 'unsubscribe' button. Didn't have to log on, and hopefully they'll now cease.

Yep, there might be a few different 'types' to unsubscribe from if they send a catch up email, and a While you were away email, and a Top Activity Email, but you'll get them all. If not, just set up a junk rule in your inbox.
