http://www.thenec.co.uk/whatson/insomnia I found out about this yesterday. Game have touted it as "the Glastonbury of gaming". It's £25 for a day ticket which is quite pricey to say I've paid £9 for a ticket to EGX... But still, I think I fancy this. Would anyone else like to go? |

An indie dev friend of mine swears by insomnia, he says it's great fun every year. I've heard that GAME fest isn't great, though. I don't think the events used to be paired. |

That's right. The first Gamefest happened in Birmingham the year before Game went into administration. I don't believe it's been back since. It was an alright show but they'd booked a massive hall which was only half filled with exhibitors. It makes sense for them to team up with Insomnia. |
