Epic meat/meet.

Thanks very much for the hospitality from the hosts. Sorry to skip out without saying goodbye, but Jacket was driving to my house and it seemed like a good idea to accept the lift.

It definitely comes to something when I have a mental list of 'people who shouldn't be allowed to be involved in making fire' and Bobby isn't on it.

Thanks for the hospitality chaps and chapesses, good time had by all :) Hotel fire alarms and 3am next-door retchers don't make for a good night's sleep though, so I'm a dead man walking currently - off to bed shortly, methinks!

I'm sorry if I seemed sub-human this morning. It's because I actually felt sub-human this morning. I'm pretty sure the scorched earth in the garden was faring slightly better than I was.

Thanks very much to Mr & Mrs Grim... for hosting, and permitting my aggressive tent to pitch up down the back of the garden.

Title.

Impressive new set-up Grim... Is that a permanent addition?

Those giant lawn slugs look like good fun, but I imagine they are impossible to remove yourself from with any grace. The fire looks as scary as ever. Glad to see you all had a great time.

I saw these in the shop t'other day and it felt all kinds of wrong. Presumably there's no vodka in it, but nevertheless, my brain would be tasting the vodka if I drank it.

Not as wrong as this though.

It does have vodka. It's cider+fruit+vodka and it's bloody lovely.

Do you find that sort of drink is something you can drink all night? When I try stuff like this I think the first one is really nice, but half way through the 2nd one I'm sick of it as its too sweet.

It wasn't anywhere close to 'alcopop' sweet. I'm not normally that tolerant of overly sweet drinks and this was fine.

Ok pretty sure my local Tesco had a load of this on offer so might get some this weekend and try it.
