At 20 people (where we are now), and assuming we can't swing a discount, it's £45 extra per person for the second cottage. At 21 people (where the second cottage becomes mandatory), it's £38 each. 22 people is £32 each. It gets cheaper from there of course.

Great, we just need numbers then. :)

Boden is interested. He'll be bringing his daughter, but she's very easily amused.

Isn't she a little old for the Cottage?

By which I mean - old enough to understand some of what's going on?

What, board games and drinking? We'll ruin her!

Likely she'd sit in a corner playing Minecraft, or Dave would teach her a game or something. I dunno. Either way, it's both or neither of 'em!

MrsA back in.

Unfortunately, she'll have the kids on Friday* but will dispose of them on Saturday morning and return.

*they'll be off to bed at 7 and we're driving up from The Motherland so exposure will be minimum. Apologies, but this is the way it is currently working out.

I originally thought about coming for just the Saturday but since Grim... and Craster have a special surprise, I thought I could extend that to coming down Friday night, stopping over and then coming home Saturday afternoonish. (Family stuff means I won't be able to stay all weekend)

How much money would you want off me for that?

Right, I am in.

I shall be heading to the cottage after work on Friday and should be there in time for pizza. I'll have to leave around tea time on Saturday though as I need to get back but a day with me is surely enough, right?

What do I need to do now... Oh yeah, providing there is room for me of course?

Fancy dress costume. The theme is Alien Gangsters this year.

You're lucky I told you, you'd look right daft otherwise.

I have done negotiations with the man who owns the cottages, and got a third off the price of the second one (approx 1330 down to 900).

So, that means that if we can get one or two more confirmations then there is no increase in price per head necessary, which is basically ideal.

So frikkin' yay to that!
