I can give a more definitive answer if someone can give me a ballpark on cost :DD (Sorry if this is elsewhere, couldn't see it in the topic.) The biggest stretch I could do is Friday evening to Sunday afternoon.

Cost depends on numbers attending, but is usually in the region of 100 quid per person.

£100, that's not too bad. Even though I am pitifully paid Bob Cratchitt-style.

My first Beex cottage experience! I am greatly excited. There is room for me, right? Right?

Is this current one the one that is a female version of you...? Minus the beard. Hopefully. Or not. Is that sexist? She can have a magnificent beard if she so chooses, I'm sure it looks lovely on her.

She is, but I'm being a bit of a dick to her so we'll see how long she puts up with me. :(

Just went on cottages4you and it says available?

This isn't a failing to book the cottage thing is it? It's a Curio social life fail.

Cottages dot com disagrees. I will just give the chap a call and check.

Other alternates are Nov 4th (but fireworks) or Nov 11th

Ah, that's the smaller one of the two cottages. The bigger one is called the Farm.

I shall brave the phone call with the owner and get us at least provisionally put in for the prior weekend, and hopefully everyone can still make it.

Sorry, folks!

Nah, don't worry. I should have either done it or asked someone. It's my bad.

I have left the owner a voicemail requesting the earlier weekend if our one is not free.

Have now spoken to owner.

Sadly 14-16th is taken.

New date booked is 7th - 10th (Friday to Monday morning).

I will PM everyone to check they know.

Many apologies again.

Cost is likely to be between 75 - 100 pounds per person, depending on how many attendees we have (75 = 20 people, 100 = 15 people).

I'll start collecting deposits soon (apart from Grim who already paid his).
