I am now in Laaahndaaahn. As ever I acutely feel the presence of an amorphous mass of millions milling around me. Also dog tired after getting super-early Megabus. But hey, got me coffee and three wonderful exhibitions on my radar so it's all peaches and gravy!

You e made it from wherever you're based to London in the time it's taken me to move from the bedroom to the living room. I am duly impressed.

He made it from a whole other country!

I'd be further impressed, but I've been in the kitchen and Nursery now, so I'm kind of winning.

But Pete is carrying a whole single bed and sidetable for later.

I'm carrying coffee, some lentil chips and Captain Calamari.

I win on both style and substance.

I'M SO EXCITED.

I should probably have a shower and get dressed.

Please do both of those things.

But it am beautiful rain, just enough to slick the streets, then when the sun hits the breaks in the cloud we get the beautiful vibrant colours & reflections!

Just been to the Paul Strand exhibition, gorgeous stuff. Also was in alleyway bookshop and watched amazed with staff members at a tiny elder Danny Dyer type launching invective at a stoic African owing to his fancy car being blocked in for a matter of two minutes. "YOU KAAAAAAAAHNT!" he said, in his best Laaahndaaahn accent. "Good lord, straight out of central casting," I said, and the staff nodded, distasteful ly amused.

Would like be to have made this as "a grand return to beex society" but 1) it would have causes a rash of last minute cancellations and 2) I'm prebooked apparently.

I haf made home safe mit the pleasant snoozing on coach and dream-like stumble home. Fantastic night but already feels weirdly so long ago! Bwah! Only my fingernails are solid proof. Anyway, off t'bed for me. Great times partying with y'all!
