I imagine that's something that Surface Pro does, and it's a constant annoyance that you can't have multiple accounts on a single iPad and then have a login screen like you would on Windows. Nope. It's not really an iPad Pro thing, it's an iOS thing. There's no user segregation at all. |

The Family sharing appears to be something that works well when every device has a different owner? Yes, you know when you go to the app store and look at the Updates > Purchased section? You can switch accounts in there and have access to download all of everyone's apps. So one person pays, and then everyone gets access. Russell has an iPhone and iPad which share one account, I gave an iPad and iPhone which share another, and we use the family sharing. If we had (for example) a child old enough to have an iPad then he could have his own account but we'd all be able to family share and only pay for one copy of, I don't know, Angry Birds, say. All our in-game progress would remain our own and all our calls and texts would remain our own, also. |

It's aimed at education, will rely on 'managed Apple IDs' (little detail on what that involves yet), and I can pretty much guarantee it won't be something you'll be able to use yourself at home - not without using supervised mode on the devices or something similar. It may well mean we get a more fleshed out version for home use with iOS 10 though |

When I looked at the family sharing on the Apple site it said that an adult could create a child account and that purchasing could be blocked as well as some content filtering put on that account. Not sure if say the adult in the sharing group bought a casino app if that would be available to the child account, guessing if you blocked gambling apps via the filtering then they wouldn’t be able to access it regardless of if it been purchased? |

Apps are age rated, no? |

Drive on the iPad, look at the monitor. For presentations and stuff. |

Airplaying it to an AppleTV covers that use case, I guess. Well, it would if it ever fucking worked. |
