Lol, I knew he's have listed some terrible tat in a Wongawatch thread and searching all of someone's posts there is trivial.

Yeah, except I don't list terrible tat. Only classic games and "must have" retro items. Apart from that, you're spot on.

Sleeping Dogs is amazing. It had the moment in gaming I feel most guilty about. My girlfriend dumped me, so I broke her leg.

You beast...

This is the definitive version apparently which includes all the DLC but yeah, I'm looking forward to giving it a go. I've heard very good things about it!

I'm still not over letting my goat die in Harvest Moon to allow me the space to buy a new cow. I starved her to death. The old farmhand just sadly shook his head at me. I almost re-set the game.

Stupid goat.

I fucking finally managed to spend <24.99> on the Fallout 4 season pass; not that Sony made it bloody easy for me. As of this afternoon I still can't buy it on the bloody website but they finally let the purchase through on the PS4 itself. Fannie. Anyway, like any right thinking human being I wouldn't normally touch a season pass with a bargepole but I feel it's justifiable in this case as the story DLC I'm interested in is £20 to start with and they've said they'll be doing more so I'm pretty sure I'll get at least another fiver's worth out of it at which point it's paid for itself. Indeed they're actually going to raise the price of the season pass to £40 on the 1st of March so I'm pretty confident in the value of it at £25.

This reminded me I haven't done this. It's showing up as £40 on the PSN website just now. Bugger.

I bought that when it was new, and found it most "meh".

I think it takes a long time to get anything out of it.

Do I want that Star Wars bundle? The X-wing/Tie-fighter games look ace but aren't they quite in depth? I don't think they're an arcade experience are they?

They're brutally hard by modern standards, too. I played the first couple of missions of X-Wing recently. I think the only way to pass them is to spend your first go utterly confused at the barely-explained objectives, make careful note of why you fail, and maybe repeat that a few times.

They also need a flight stick to shine.

Why not just not pre order it in the first place, what do you actually gain by doing it? Genuine question.

It'll arrive in the post and now I don't have to remember to buy it. I will probably forget I have bought it until a couple of days before.

Needing to order a game months in advance because otherwise you'll forget also brings a lot of tittery to the party.

No. Buying games rarely sits high in my "stuff to do" list, so doing whilst it is at the front of my mind is the best policy. Otherwise it gets swallowed in the maelstrom of other shit that needs to get done (sort out garage roof, investigate solar panels, rewire kitchen, netrunner).
