Bezzie gaming on PS4

Hmmm... should I get CoD:AW (which I had on the 360) or wait for BlOps3? Will people be BlOpping it up? I have a horrible feeling it might feel pedestrian after AW.

AW is around £25 from Amazon - I think you'd be better waiting and picking up BLOPS3 (since its due out in under 2 weeks)

I will be SW battlefronting the shizzle out of my PS4 come release day. Stupid question - will I need a PS Plus thingy to play on line?

My pick up BLOPS 3 as well.

As far as I know, you need to be a PS+'er to play any/every multiplayer game on PS4. I imagine the beta was a bit of a wrinkle to that.

I won't be getting Blops 3 (haven't played the first two) so I'll be happy to play AW for the foreseeable.

After reading a bit further it seems it's not out on consoles for a while yet. PC-only for now.

Can tell I'm going to have to invest in both this and blops. Mind you not paid for a game since February.

Haven't gone 'next gen' (current gen now, really) yet, unless you somehow count the Wii U, but when I eventually do it's PS4 all the way. There's two games for the PS4 and 'Bone generation of consoles that I'd like to own and play, and one is going to be PS4 exclusive, so that's decided.

How are the media player functions of the PS4, incidentally? Same, better or worse than the PS3?

Slightly worse at the moment but are slowly improving - what would you like to do with it ?

Initially it wouldn't play video files back from USB sticks or over a network; I'm not sure if they've patched that in yet as it's no longer something I need.

That would work but I cant make it big and colourful - so i've added the 'tag' but i'll still put the other bits on manually.
