So matt saw Mike and Emily through the telescope and had a fight with him. Mike and jess went to the other cottage and jess was pulled through a window. Mike gave chase but fell over a lot and jess was pushed to her death. Meanwhile Mr chris and Josh and ash had a séance then Josh and ash were beaten up by a clown. Mr chris went to look for them but the clown beat him up too. Mr chris woke up and still went looking for him. He found them only he had to choose which one didn't get circular sawed to death and he chose ash and Josh got cut in half. Ash and Mr chris then left and met Emily and matt. The scary man interviewing me is scary.

I managed to kill the blonde speccy nerd one in a wendigo attack, sadly as he was the most likable character. We only killed one more character, the main character, the blonde lass. My girlfriend was playing the end of the game, she just has to keep the joypad still to stop the wendigo killing her. Nope, dead, She thought she had won and moved. Then the game ended.

Mike/Matt and Emily are on the edge of cliff being threatened by reindeer and matt/Mike has managed to explode himself in the sanatorium. Sam was captured by the clown guy despite giving him a blow to the noggin and cheesing it.

I'm really enjoying this as you can make your own Teenage Murder Simulator. And it does tension really well in places. I can understand why the pretty indirect control you have over the people might infuriate Those Of A Lesser Mind because you cannot BatmanNinja an Elk but it works really well if you strap yourself in and go along for the ride. The chapters are just the right length, the sound is pretty good and BOO! SCARED YA!

It's pretty well produced, cheesy fun and we'll worth the entrance fee.

Josh! You dick! I'm pleased Mr Chris was still alive so he could smash you with a plank of wood. Emily! You survived and did good running to meet Mr Flamethrower. Mr Flamethrower passed on his knowledge then Mr Chris stood on a stick and the Winnebago cut Mr Flamethrowers's head off. Mr Chris ran but it wasn't enough! Still, at least Ash gave him a snog before the Winniebagel tosses his head at the door. Mike/Matt didn't shoot Emily as Emily was bitten and the Matt\Mike went away to get a key. Ash read a book. Oh. And Emily found beth's head

This whole thing is super fun and ace. I love it.

I agree that once you 'see' and understand more about the Wendigo it loses some of the scare factor but i think they timed it well for the reveal , and although the end could move a little quicker i think the pacing in general is good.

The end is i think a little off because its so easy to kill 'virtually' everyone with one wrong move - but you can just re-do the last chapter if you want to see how that plays out

Yip - it would be better to have a bigger rewind option (so if i want to go back to Chapter 4 and continue from that point they 'wipe' the later ones and I have to re-do

I thought You *could* replay other chapters but you need to do them sequentially and they dont save (I have only ever replayed the final chapter)

Worth seeing some of the alternative endings and i'm sure you can 'save' a few others to see what their endings are

Made it all the way through to the end , and then got shoved aside by Emily when everyone ran for the door so died in the explosion (first time) - when I replayed the final chapter she made it out

Saw this on Reddit earlier, it's the original PS3 version of Until Dawn. It was originally a first person Move control operated horror game so here's a lengthy look at that if you've got time and interest. It doesn't have the actors of the PS4 version and appears to have been completely revised what what we know of it. Interesting stuff.

I finished this at the weekend and fucking loved it; properly engaging stuff. It's weird because mechanically it's pretty much exactly the same as everything Telltale churns out but somehow I found this much more fun and absorbing than any of their output. That's probably at least in part because it looks so good, it's a genuinely very pretty game and the location design helps to pull you in. In terms of my path through, I lost three of the characters; two of them to stupid mistakes on my part that had me cursing myself the instant I made my selection and the third to something I don't think I could really help so overall I'm happy with that. I don't intend to play through it again because now I know the story and whatnot I just don't think there's any attraction to repeating bits of it. Spoilers for my choices:

Matt died for me at the point he and Emily are confronted by the deer herd. As soon as I took the decision to swing the axe I knew it was the wrong thing to do and when I fucked up one of the QTEs he plummeted to his death. Fuck him though, he was the least interesting character by far.
Jess initially survived being taken by the wendigo because I didn't fuck anything up when chasing her as Mike. Near the end though when trying to lead her out of the mine I picked the 'run' option the second time round and she died near instantly. I was annoyed about this because I really liked her as a character and knew she was too injured to run properly so realised about a milisecond after picking the option that I'd doomed her like a twat. Her actual death scene was fucking brutal as well and I genuinely felt bad watching it.
Crazy Josh got done in at some point near the end but apparently you can only prevent that if you're found some amount of the evidence about the fate of his sisters throughout the game so I'm not too fussed about it.

At the point when they're in the basement after Mike goes off to look for Josh the group go through the flamethrower guy's stuff and start reading his journal. They get to the bit that mentions how if you kill a wendigo the spirit is released to look for another host and Sam's all like, "Shit, we need to tell Mike." I assumed at the time she meant that as in, we need to tell him not to actually kill and wendigos or he'll just get possessed by the released spirit. And for the rest of the game, whenever you kill one you do see the spirit released and floating around but nothing actually ever comes of that does it? It just seemed a bit odd to make a big deal of the whole concept and always show the spirits flying loose but never make anything of it.

Yeah, that's what I thought, which is why it seemed odd that Sam made such a big deal about the discovery. It's not like Mike was all, "I'm going to find Josh and I'll probably stop along the way to snack on some human flesh. Brb."

If you find the details which let you find out that the main Weidigo is his sister , when she attacks you both he recognizes the tattoo on her arm and talks to her , she spares him and leaves him in the mines

On the next day when the police are going through the mines they find him eating on human flesh and already partially transformed (its one of the final cutscenes and probably on youtube if you want to see that)
