This is a really weird one. So basically my wife and I have Plusnet fibre. We were on the 72mb one but recently we downgraded to 40mb to save a tenner a month.

Any way, on IE, EDGE and Chrome sites don't load properly or only a bit loads. I also get timeout errors. However, on Firefox I hardly ever get any issues. IE my net runs as it should.

I've tried wired and wireless but it's the same either way I try. Is this a DNS issue? any ideas guys? I do have multiple devices connected (two phones, a few HDMI boxes and so on) could this also be the cause? it happens even when none of the boxes are doing anything...

No it was the same on 8 :) Same on multiple PCs too, it seems Firefox is the only browser that plays ball with my net..

If a site won't load I close and reopen the browser, then it more often than not works. I won't care once they fix this crashing I'm getting in Firefox.

Have you tried using different DNS servers, like google DNS? Or perhaps more obviously have you restarted your router etc.

Yeah I've rebooted the router numerous times Mark :) I would do the DNS with Chrome but I totally forgot the IP addresses and how you do it, and Googling hasn't really helped :S

8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

You just need to go into the network settings and shove them in there somewhere.

Switched to Google DNS and so far it's been awesome. I ran a speed test this morning and got 68mb, now I get this.

So yeah, I think I was right, it was a DNS issue.
