Bought one of these to try and push myself to do more exercise

So far finding it useful as I come home and see I've done a lot less that 10,000 steps in a day so either run or try and do more walking at lunchtime, also like that fact the band has GPS built in so you can just use the watch and sync it later

Also had it monitor my sleep last night, you have to press a button on the band before you go to bed, was quiet shocked to see how badly I sleep although the MS Dashboard appears to think its not that bad.

I always read for 40 mins before I fall asleep but I still woke up 6 times last night if you exclude they reading and when the alarm went off!

I did want one of these when I saw it was first announced but when I realized it's just for fitness stuff, I lost interest.

Does it do anything else?

I've been using a Jawbone Up24 for a few months now which was nice and cheap from Groupon, and it is useful as a "get off your lazy ass" motivator.

It will show, emails, texts, Facebook messages as well as stuff like weather, I wanted it for fitness and there are cheaper things that will do this stuff, so maybe not worth £150 just for that if you don't care about the fitness.

Not done a run yet, but this would indicate that it does that
