Can someone help me do this please? I've got a jpeg that's 43meg but it needs to be a PDF.

All the online tools I normally use aren't working because of the size.

Put it in a Word doc and save as a .pdf? Or Photoshop?

Print it? http://www.howtogeek.com/150891/how-to- ... nd-tricks/

We need to print it as a 60x40 inch poster but the jpeg doesn't work with the printing software for some reason.

I'm basically the middle man trying to make both parties not look silly.

Photoshop or InDesign would be able to handle it, I'd expect.

I haven't got photshop... I probably should have mentioned that in the first post if not only to make it look like I know what I'm doing.

Do you have PDF writer installed? You can usually print to the PDF creator virtual printer.

You can have a 30 day free trial of photoshop. You'll need to install some bullshit that goes with it on your pooter. And you'll get an infinite amount of emails asking you to buy stuff. Porn mainly. This might not have anything to do with photoshop and more to do with my browsing history.

The fact that he can't install anything is probably going to affect the output of that plan.

If you can open it in word or embed the picture in a Word document you can choose to 'print' to .PDF

Hope that helps!

Just change the three letter file name extension at the end and send it on.

It's ok, Grim... Sorted it for me. I couldn't put it in word because the file was too large as in.. It was 60x40 inches.

That's strange - you must have a different version of word to me. I just created a custom document 1000 x 1500mm (which is about 40x60" if my lazy maths serves, though you could have inputted exact) and it has set this as the document size.

Yep, weird. It is office 2007 but I would have thought that it would cope. Clearly not.

Stupid boy! How many people do you know that have a monitor 60x40 inches? You're wasting your time.

Nice, I didn't see that one coming. I was expecting someone to accuse me of not knowing how to take a screen grab.

Hahaha!

Strange about the sizes, though. Mine is 2008 (Mac), so only a year on. Oh well, glad you got it done in the end :)

Mac Office is by a completely different team to Windows Office, and generally my experience has been that the Mac team know what they're doing :P
