This looks interesting. Player 1 is a sniper and has to shoot Player 2 who is a spy. Play 2 who is the spy must not get shot, but complete objectives, whilst milling around the NPCs and not drawing attention to themselves by doing things that NPCs don't do (like not walk in straight lines, or something). I have no idea what system it is on but I suspect PC only. Anyways, these 2 seem to be having fun with it.

Here is what google did in its stitching together of photos. It is looking towards Cullingworth, from Nab Lane which is part of the old pack horse trails they used to move stuff from Mill to wherever. It makes for some cracking riding.

AND ANOTHER THING!

There was some superb riding along a bridleway which had rocks and steps and alternative routes and things like that. I was really looking froward to it today. I got there and it has all been graded down so it now completely smooth and flat (ok, a slight slope). All that awesome stuff through the woods is gone. And some of the woods. I don't know if it is to make it easier people to go along there or the not very good horse riders but I am cross over it.

In rugby league ("Northern Rugby") news, the Batley prop forward has come out as gay in an interview with the Sunday mirror. I really do not understand why it is necessary to have prop forwards in rugby league with uncontested scrums.

In seriousness, great for him and I really do hope it encourages others to do the same. Although it is probably easier if you are a prop forward in northern rugby. From batley.

Urgh I'm really not looking forward to this hassle.

Mortgage in principle approved for our new home and just had a call from the estate agent to say that we're getting an offer put in today on our place! Don't know how much it's going to be for, so just waiting to hear from our solicitor. A wee bit nervous! It's only been on the market since Thursday and the For Sale sign isn't even up yet!

Isn't it the case that 112 may work when you have no signal, as 112 emergency calls get routed through any available network? Obviously, it wont work if you're in the middle of nowhere, but I know that you can totally phone 112 on a phone with no sim, or one which has been barred.

Yes, I don't think I have ever seen it pop up on my iPhone, but I know that my old phone used to display that when out of range or when you took the sim out.

Do you know who the two worst people in the world are?

1: the person who first phrased anything thus: 'She ___ _______ ______ _____. You'll never guess what happens next' and
2: the person who first published any online gallery content such as 'The 21 cutest puppies eating noodles you've ever seen!' With each on its own ad-ridden slow as heck to load page with the actual content below the fold.

Obviously, next are the people who litter Facebook with it.

Thing is, it must generate enough traffic and revenue to be worth doing or they'd stop, so who exactly *is* falling for it?

Half day today because The Child is changing nurseries next month so needs to "settle in" for an hour today. New place is around two corners from home so that makes life easier. And slightly cheaper. But not Triumph Scrambler cheaper, as I have decided to get a new boiler installed in the loft. What a life I now lead. I even we t to bed at 9pm last night because I was seemingle knackered. I still am.

:D I usually refuse, on principle, to not read anything with clickbait phrasing of any kind in the title, because its usually the most banal of content. Due to my interests there are a number of sources of inspiration and tutorial boards that I both read and post in, and the number of articles that are titled 'you'll never guess what this lamp shade was made of!' are ridonkulous. Yes, I can guess: it's a balloon wrapped in string covered in glue. I'm not blind and there's a picture, and people have been doing it for years. Shhhhh.

The last few nights however I have been struck with incredible insomnia, so I have found myself giving up on the concept of sleep at about 4am and have been tiredly clicking through the entire internet in semi-consiousness and have a couple of times clicked those posts on Facebook without thinking and then instantly hate everything.

Related are forum posts titled 'Will this work?', 'Is this possible?', 'Check this out' or 'Has anyone seen this?', or basically any thread title that doesn't state what it is. The board I started and run elsewhere has few rules, but one of the ones I had from the very start was not to start threads with completely contextless vague questions or statements. It's not heavy-handed, but the mods will change any thread title to be indicative of the thread context or initial post query if such a thread is created, so that people can assist in queries and partake in any discussion around a particular topic, as it can be quite fast moving.

Dave, I can translate my own phone-typed gibberish, unfortunately yours seems to come from a different base dialect :D Maybe because we have different phones...

But yes, it does work. There is plenty of internet content (I am yet to read the entire internet, even with the current insomnia) so it's quite easy :p

:)

"To refuse to not read" essentially contains two negatives, therefore saying you read them, which isn't sticking it to the man.

Which is why I loaded my reply with multiple negatives.

Were you planning on wasting the operator's time or were you just really unlucky each time you had to call them?

I tried the same thing with an old phone we gave to the baby to play with, just to make sure she couldn't call 999. Figured I'd just hang up as soon as it sounded like it might do anything. Anyway it didn't work at all.

Oh, yes, I see that now. I didn't notice as I posted. I'm quite likely to make quite a few errors posting these next couple of weeks or so as I am not sleeping very much, so do excuse any blips in typing and/or general skill at anything.

I reach full term tomorrow, and these last few days have just started to take every bit of energy from me (whilst also preventing me from sleeping! Yay!) :S

I hope it is just nature's way of preparing me for when he is here and home. (The baby, not Russell, who is also exhausting).
