Really? The second one was clearly the worst, but I'm not sure III is better than I.

You seem to be confused. II is the best one of the prequels.

There's just so much that makes no sense, or is badly acted, or childish nonsense (and often all three).

There's no way that Episode VII is going to be this bad.

I watched episode III whilst drunk, in Dublin, while drinking in a cinema just after leaving my girlfriend

I watched episodes I & II sober in the cinema in Worcester with my ex girlfriend.

III wins.

Apparently there's been a rousing trade in people buying loads and reselling them on eBay.

I can imagine. There seems to be a shortage each year. You'd think they might just make a few more.

My phone is playing up. Among the many weird and wonderful wrongness it is displaying is a new thing that if I type in any window it scrolls the window up off of the phone, so I can only see the keyboard and not what I am typing, until I press submit. Then I can't edit it as I can't see where I am moving the cursor to. Considering I cannot type on this thing at the best of times there may be some confusion ahead.

I ordered something from an Amazon seller that went down in price by £30 the week after via Amazon. I'd already opened the original so I ordered the cheaper one with a view to sending that back as it will be unopened.

The original seller has received it back but they're claiming it's been opened. That's all they said in their email after I had to chase it as they've had the return for over a week. They didn't elaborate, suggest what I could do now or even tell me about the status of my refund.

Understandably, I'm annoyed.

I'm pretty sure that the fact it's been opened does not affect your rights under the distance selling regulations. So their claim is both wrong and irrelevant.

Yeah, the item they're received is the same item they sold me in a resalable condition. That's not in question, it's the fact that they're claiming it's been opened when it hasn't.

So I have just returned from lunch. I went out to a restaurant across from the Office and as I stared at the menu, looking at all the lovely meals that come with chips, I realised that I couldn't bring myself to order any of them.

It is the first time in my life I have uttered the phrase, "I think I'll just have a salad" (when other options were available).

I think I'm ill.

Yeah, I'd been checking there constantly, as well as places like Asda, Tesco, etc: Places that I could click and collect. none of the Argos stores in the area had any and they also aren't available to have delivered.

Argos have gone a bit strange in their ordering now. It asked for my postcode, which I put in, and then let me add it to my basket. Then it asked if I wanted to click and collect or have it delivered. I chose click and collect, and it told me that all the stores in a 10 mile radius were out of stock. Ok, delivered then... out of stock to have it delivered, too. Why did it want my postcode if not to check stock of these two options. If both options were out, why did it let me add it to the trolley? It did the same with a play matt I wanted.

Huh. So a mate of mine, the one I was potentially going to see before the Christmas quiz, works with a Beexer it turns out. One of them mentioned me in a way that the other recognised, which is fucking bonkers if you think about it. She only knows him as 'Neil' though so I don't actually know who it is; anyone want to fess up?

There are at least a couple of Neils. Whereabouts do they work?

It's a small world. GJ works with the son of someone that Russ and I work with. A beex'er also dated someone in the company that I knew, that lived at the other end of the company. I only found this up when she phoned me up and told me that she was coming to my wedding.
