Well that was jolly good fun.

It did have a skip tutorial option. I pressed the skip tutorial button. It put me in a stupid tutorial anyway, with no subsequent option to skip it. (even by quitting and restarting)

It wouldn't have been that bad (although still shit) except for the stupid chase a man with drugs mission. Which puts you with a coop partner. While I was investigating abilities to either skip tutorial or join he bollocksed up the mission into a practically uncompletable state.

Quit, restart.

Second attempt I was on my own, do didn't lose the drug wagon, but it relies on the (not too great) shooting and driving mechanic. and gives you a distinct lack of ammo. Run out of bullets, restart.

Third attempt was eventually successful. But still took far too damn long.


The glasses removing tutorial was really handy though.

This is legit good training for playing with Grim….

His choice of a moped as our vehicle in the missions last night was inspired.

Fortunately, someone wiped out most of the goons befire we arrived.

We've parked on top of one of the tall buildings to get this selfie. That's me up front, with The Egg behind. Nickachu is the lady having a smoke. Riles isn't in the shot because he stole the helicopter to leave us stranded and promptly crashed.

Right for those who dont have it (like me) - buying options :

1) Buy it digitally from the US

The game is still full price on the US PSN store , and is also available from Amazon US for the same $60 (buying the code from Amazon saves you buying $60 credit / applying it / then using the credit to buy the game so is slightly easier) - if your card holder does not charge you for using dollars then this is one of the cheapest options at around £36.50 (you need to have a US account setup on your PS4 but you dont need to use it and the game will be find on your 'normal' UK account).

2) Buy it digitally from the UK

The most expensive option but the one which will get you the game with the least amount of faffing around - its a straight £54.99

3) Buy a physical copy 'new'

Go2Games (never heard of them) show up as one of the cheaper prices at £37.99

Ah, I was going to say, I might be a maybe, but haven't played it yet, so wasn't sure if that was an issue. I doubt I'll get a chance to play beforehand, so will probably give it a miss tonight.

Craster's rubbish Internet ruined our Heist

Although we wouldn't have been able to successfully bail out of helicopters and planes and land in pickups if Crasternet hadn't broken.

Five times in a row proved it was no fluke.

I have downloaded and transferred my character from the PS3. Level 69.

I also popped SEVENTEEN trophies when I logged into GTA:O, which was amusing.

We're all playing Mad Max Multiplayer now.

There is. I created it for Max Payne 3 but I think I handed the reins over to DocG and Grim... about a year ago.

There should be one for that, but no. It seems to have unlocked all the online trophies that I also had for the PS3.

Madmax is ace, I finished the story line last night and was impressed at the game as a whole.

I'll be on at around 9.
