This is a very weird programme on channel 4.
I fundamentally disagree with pretty much everything UKIP stand for, but i'm not sure how they are allowed to show something like this, especially so close to a general election.

I didn't watch it, but we both commented on how we would move to New Zealand if UKIP did end up in power.

The law states that you can't put such programming on within X days of the election. They did this one just before that deadline.

Can't they claim balance anyway, after the farage/goggle-box interview giving the 'positive' light.

Anyway we're not in an election period as curiosity says. Declarations aren't open let alone closed, and the civil service isn't in purdah.

Yeah, I can't see how an libertarian free-marketeer like yourself would have anything in common with them.

Trouble is, I think my MP is a toad faced knobber. I want him gone. However, the white retirees of my constituency think he is ace, because of his right wing, populist stance on stuff. The only candidate I think with a chance is probably UKIP. Which puts me in a pickle.

The right answer isn't voting UKIP, I'm sure.

The right answer is never voting UKIP.

Yeah, at best the UKIP candidate might not be toad faced, but he's certainly going to be a knobber and probably a massive racist as well.

He deals with all the big local issues:

Quote:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what steps she is taking to encourage police forces to allocate adequate resources towards reducing the incidence of dog fighting.

You know I voted Liberal Democrat, right?
(and probably will do again, either that or Green)

Look, how can I run a smear campaign against you if you keep quoting salient facts?

Flicked through it last night and it was utter arse, I thought it was going to be a documentary, not some drama.

It will just give UKIP more ammo to attack the establishment and will add strength to some of Farrages statements on them all being an out of touch club etc.

I watched Sunday's 'Meet the UKIPpers' show last night. Amateur party full of amateurs acts in amateurist manner. Nothing to see here, unless you get sadistic pleasure over watching someone dig themselves a grave, build a gallows, tie a knot, climb up, jump off, and not even realise. The shots of the press officer's clown collection was even scarier than the footage of Mr Farage or the party membership.

You're right. His advisers and press team, and the event organisers are there.
