so we got jens a laptop for his birthday.. windows 7 .. seemed like the most standard thing you can get..

and ofcourse his main reason to want it is playing minecraft on the pc

and that doesn't work

I get an exception violation error after starting..
- tried to change the permissions of the dll it refers to.. but it doesn't allow me too (this link said i should do this)
- reinstalled java...

so now i'm installing win 10, and will reinstall minecraft on that... anymore ideas?

Also, kind of difficult to resolve the win 7 error, now you have installed win 10!
