I would be interested in this. Assuming I can be a burly motherfucker with a huge sword that solves problems by HULK SMASH.

Not much of a challenge for your roleplaying abilities then!

I'd be up for this. I don't have any D&D gear any more, but I think the PHB and DM's guide are downloadable as PDFs now? I do have a couple of other RPGs still; Shadowrun and Feng Shui. You guys would probably like the latter.

Not as well as I could. With all the 2nd Ed AD&D stuff I still have. Cos it's the best version.

Mercury dragon garden parteh!

This appeals to me.. but please don't tell anyone.

This is October, right? That's plenty of notice isn't it? I could pop along for the day/evening.

Hello!

It's getting towards full payment time. In fact, that time may have already passed, but the chap who owns the place kinda lets us pay whenever, which is nice.

We have 14 people with deposits paid. I will assume they are all still coming (are you out there, Trooper?).

Mimi and Russ should be rather busy at this point, though I have vague recollections of them saying they might come and say hello.

Mr Dave and Malc are regulars, so I hope they will come.

Kovacs and Cavey both expressed interest at the BBQ.

Mr Chris is a boring twat.

Saturnalian may join us at some point for a nice game of Mafia and some video games.

Slightly Green and Mr Dom were bandying around the idea of coming.

As were some more people. Please don't be offended if I have left you out; I'm monumentally lazy.

Any more for any more?

Grim... - were Other Matt and Mrs Other Matt still interested?

Other Dave was interested last time I spoke to him.

The more the merrier (and the cheaper), etc. We'd love to have any and all of you, and I'm sure if you ask the people who have previously been to this or the cottage, it's a wonderful fun time and we're all lovely.

Once I get a better idea of numbers then I will be able to let you know how much it is per person. In years past it has been around 100 quid per person for 3 days and 3 nights (Fri-Sat-Sun), though this year it may be more if we do not get as many people. I'm going to estimate at 130 quid per head, but I could be wrong.

So, LET ME KNOW, YOU BEAUTIFUL BASTARDS!

We might try and pop in to day hello for a couple of hours on one day if we can, with Surprise Auntie Ange, but it's going to depend on how we are doing and when and how Master Codd comes bouncing into the world (though at present I'm concerned he is just trying to escape through my front, Alien-Style - we have not had a good day. It's ok, I needed neither my bladder or my lungs, it seems), but yes, hopefully we'll come and say hello, but only briefly. We'll be back for Co7tage, though xxxxxx

I am a bit up in the air at the moment, in that my wife's job is changing focus in September, and I don't know what impact it's going to have on weekends in general and this one in particular.

There's another kickstarter just launched that sounds like it's proper werewolf/mafia with day and night phases only without full player elimination. Players who get killed off continue to contribute in some form as angels or demons. Sounds very interesting. I'm considering backing it but I don't think I'll make the cottage :'(

Pretty sure Jazzy has paid a deposit too, but my inability to update pages correctly has struck again.

Other Dave is also in.

Teen Angel#1 is due to give birth ~2 weeks after this date, but all being well, would it be OK for me to blast down on the Harley (if the weather's OK, otherwise car it is lol :D ), stay for a few hours (or even doss overnight on a sofa/carpet), chuck beers and quids into the pot and show you all quite how useless I am at games and stuff? :)

Bobby!

You should bring Mrs Bobby and Mini Bobby.

If nothing else, Maria will totally look after Mini Bobby.

Actually, on second thoughts...

Bargain, thanks Curio. :)
Only 60-odd miles away from the ol' homestead, much less than I was expecting.

No, they're closer in size than you realise. Larger cottage has 8 bedrooms, smaller has 6. Main difference is the larger has a full second story but the smaller one just has a couple of rooms in an attic space. This also leaves more room in the ground floor of the larger one for the massive living room, kitchen, and snooker room.

Anyhoo!

Looking at just the one cottage this year, as we look to have somewhere in the region of 17 people. We can fit in the odd one or two extra if necessary.

The likely cost is 105 pounds per person, though there's a possibility that this could drop, depending on STUFF.

Day visitors are not obliged to pay, but are can contribute if they want, especially to the fund of shared goods (loo roll, communal cooking what Grim/Craster/Gaywood/Egg) do, and are of course encouraged to bring nice things to eat/drink. People with newborns are exempt from this tax :)
