I'd imagine Gaywood could hand you one on Saturday, there were loads laying around at his office.

I may be completely wrong about that, though.

This is a hell of a freak out for thirteen whole pounds.

THIRTEEN FUCKING POUNDS?!

It's relatively a lot of money for a piece of cardboard though. Imagine someone had just spent £13 on a bowl of cereal in Shoreditch.

It's not just a piece of cardboard, the full kits come with lenses and the magnet button to justify the cost slightly. Mostly though it's the convenience of not having to dick around cutting bits of cardboard up from a template.

I'm interested in that. The original post says it works with the Wii too... That's relevant to my interests as mine is nodded to play SNES games.

Where did you get yours from?

Ebay - there are quite a few from UK based sellers and some that will come from China - the price seems to be around the same (the one i bought came from the channel isles and arrived about 2 days after I bought it)

I have the SFC version (so the 'correct' UK colours on the pad) there are US ones with the purple colours and there are also ones shaped like a NES or Famicom pad (but with 4 buttons) and one which has dual analogue sticks

The build quality and 'presentation' (box and accessories) is very impressive

I really do like the sounds of this but I need to do a bit more research to make sure it works with the emulators on My Wii. Perhaps one of these companies does a money back guarantee?

Good shout, I'll keep that in mind for the future. Really I should've ordered one last week rather than waiting until the day I actually needed a replacement so it's my own fault. Though I was quite impressed at my own ingenuity on Monday night when I managed to work out how to watch a Bluray on the PS4 without having a working control pad.

My TV remote works on the PS4 , its for a Samsung TV and it sees the PS4 as some type of connected device - I was very impressed the first time i just used the arrows and select button to choose something on the PS4 without having to pick up the PS4 pad

I do too and the remote generally works fine once you get to the console dashboard, but if you switch it on without a connected control pad it just sits at a splash screen waiting for you to connect a controller. I fiddled around though and found a menu in the depths of my TV settings with an option that allowed me to get past that and then I was good to go.

I played this for a short amount of time and didn't really like it. It wasn't very good. But people say it was good. Have sony sent me a different game? Why is it good? You run around a maze and shoot things ineffectively then die. I then laoded up Transistor or something like that which was awesome from the get go.

I think a lot of the PSNet games aren't great. The escape game wasn't brilliant either. Sure, they look nice, but aren't exactly stellar to play.

The one in black and white and you are a little funny thing that looks a bit like a hoo in a body stocking or a fat thing and you walk across the screen and you press buttongs to make bridges pop up and stuff.

Escape Plan! That is what it is called.
