Yeah. That's $12 for the car plus $12 for each track I don't already own (10 of the 12), minus a 20% discount for buying six or more items at once. Plus a monthly subscription (I'm currently paying $3 a month but that's a reduced rate).

I've just obtained my Class D licences in both road and oval racing by using the cars and tracks included with the sub, but need to splash out if I want to get my Class C licence. My poor wallet.

That sounds a lot like the sort of pricing model you vehemently hate.

It's pay-to-compete, not pay-to-win. Buying a different car isn't going to make me suddenly better than those who don't - it just means I'm able to participate in different series. Unlike freemium mobile games where the game mechanics are skewed towards rewarding the 'whales' who pump tons of money into the ecosystem.

Plus now I've bought a load of tracks I'm able to use them in other series too. For example I only need to buy one car and one track to be able to compete in the NASCAR Super Late Model series in Class C now.

If I was happy racing at D licence level I wouldn't have to pay anything other than my sub. There's plenty of series to race. I just want to see how high I can compete. :)

Also sim racing is much much cheaper than ACTUALLY racing. As well you know.

One of my friends made some good cash playing that, and got to meet proper drivers, etc.

Sadly no. It's some cars from the first game.

It's the only sim where you can guarantee good racing (once you get out of Rookie class where all the demolition derby racers are) and lots of events every single day. Plus the handling is incredible. Pricey, but worth it.

I believe that's IndyCar on road courses, but I might be wrong. Very impressive.

I really should keep this up to date.

I've bought loads of stuff including an Xbox one, another PSP, a DSi and loads of games.

If I put <804.87> here then that will bring me up to date with my spreadsheet.

£400 is a new Xbox and I've spent about £150ish om games for it so there is that.

The rest is just many games here and there. I'll PM you my spreadsheet if you'd like to take a look?

Yeah, I did swither about that but I'm away in Warsaw for four days at the end of the week so it's important I get as much time in as possible before then. Also, it'll be only the second game this year I paid full price for so fuck it.

Yeah, I think so. I imagine the meaning is clear from context there but a good definition is, "to be uncertain or perplexed about what to do or choose; doubt; hesitate; dither".

<34> Destiny: The Taken King Edition (PS4)

It's the same bloody disc as the vanilla version with download codes - what a waste of resources. Still much cheaper than buying the DLC on PSN though (£60).
