Interestingly my client's accident was shown on TV. I can't really give out deets but I'm seeing whether he'll agree to do some press on it and see if I can get some local interest for my firm.

I ain't no scumbag insurer solicitor. This guy's life has been wrecked. The emotional, physical and financial stress you wouldn't wish on your worse enemy.

  1. A nearby supermarket sells peanut butter.
  2. I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER!

Looks like they ended up storming the place to end it. No word yet on casualties.

I don't often go into Sydney any more, but I was there yesterday for work. I'd dropped father-in-law (visiting from the UK) off to have a wander round the city while I was busy so there was a moment of concern there.

Seems in the run-up to Christmas the central Post Office in Oxford are opening earlier every day except today. Will have to join the lunchtime queues then, and have my now-usual struggles with the self-service machine whilst people are looking at me.

Whilst out shopping earlier, I noticed that Bright House now sell consoles. By the time you've paid their interest charges and the pretty much mandatory insurance and extended guarantee you'll have been charged the ludicrous sum of £1300 for a PS4. I hate these twats with a passion.

Despite trying to be nice and lovely to everyone this year, I didn't point out that it IS possible for a person to see 7 months of data in three and a half if we started now but we would need to construct a spaceship capable of 0.9C withinertial dampers and set off straight away. It took A LOT.

Had a miserable bus journey into work today. Not due to traffic, but because a scrotty school kid who clearly has yet to learn about deodorant (and shaving) sat next to me. And the bus was full so there was nowhere to move to.

Thankfully someone else on another seat was over-perfumed so as long as I kept looking in that direction I could occasionally breath.

Gah, I'm getting old.

Perhaps. But I currently view changing a mode of transport as another layer of faff in the morning. When the railway line reopens as far as the park and ride, I might consider cycling in.

Office Christmas Party tonight. We're getting a "Party bus" there and drinking Fizz on the way.

It can only end well.

Having said that, at the last do I fell asleep on the train on the way back to Warrington and woke up in Liverpool costing me £45 in taxi fares so I have a benchmark to surpass there.
