I played Alien Breed 3D last night on my CD32.

It's a bit blocky.

That's great - but that's not the safety line. That's the thing that's there to warn blind people that they're getting near the edge of the platform.

But...there isn't anyone the wrong side of the safety line. Oh! He means the wall side of the wibbly thing. OK, now that makes some sense. I'll shut up now.

Surely the yellow line is the safety line. He should have been annoyed about them canoodling on the blind person's guide. I still think you're correct and he didn't think it through.

330 minutes to do 200 miles to Churchdown. Still, in between the sleeping, screaming and crying, the child was fine with it.

Well, I'm glad I got evaluation copies of BG Enhanced Edition, as I manged to get it to run once, and now whenever I run the executable it goes to a blank screen, with the gamecursor. From googling it sounds like I'm not alone in this. I've tried all the recommended things and it hasn't made any difference.

Mimi opened the window earlier and heard some chiming.

"Wind chimes-how to tell your neighbours you hate them" she proclaimed.

I pointed out it was an ornament on our windowsill making the noise.

"Oh, that's alright then."

I'm surprised you're even allowed to go. I thought we had a non-essential travel ban!

it is customer funded travel, to a customer site. Who i had confirmed with 4 times in the last two weeks, that i was to visit. he has not showed up. I think it is because he has dropped a bollock and does not want to face me

Tell him you held the meeting in his absence and there are the newly agreed terms.

Well, I said it had changed due to some legal challenge on the TV copyright of Pimp My Ride, but I guess that depending on when he actually submitted it he may have been right.

That was also the first thing Russell said, btw.

Oh hey, the site is still active.

[edit]Oh, no it's not, but the copyright date shows this year. You shouldn't do that, Comical!

I was looking for pet shops in Glasgow as I need to pick up a timed feeder for me cats and when Street Viewing a likely candidate I accidentally 'walked' right in the door and started browsing the inside of the shop! There's three or four positions you can stand in and the quality of the images is high enough you can read packaging on the shelves and stuff. It's totally pointless but an amusing surprise to stumble on, especially as it's a wee indie business that you wouldn't necessarily expect to indulge in such shenanigans.

According to the Liverpool Echo, the local Clinical Commissioning Group are to review a plan to spend £30,000 on homeopathy on the NHS. I guess the less they spend on such treatments, the more effective they are.

They should spend £30k on prayer instead. 8th is clinically more effective, even if the prayee does not know about it.

Buy from Amazon (unless you want to support indies, natch)

I have two - a Catmate C20 (2 meal) and a 6-meal jobber: http://www.amazon.co.uk/douself-Automat ... at+feeders

It's more that I only realised yesterday that the people who usually feed my cats when I'm away would actually be with me this time given that it's a family wedding we're all off to therefore fuck! My cats are going to starve! So a quick resolution was required.

I feel like I have done too much work today. It's all been good, and I've kind of been swanning between teams being consulted on my opinion without actually doing too much, which is great, but I haven't even eaten my whole packet of crisps.

Mortal Kombat X charges players for “easy fatalities”.

Ars Technica wrote:
The Xbox Live and PSN stores both offer packs of "easy fatalities" as downloadable content for the game, which launched today. The consumable items let players pull off the bloody finishing move by simply holding down a shoulder button and pushing a face button, rather than entering an entire series of buttons and directions in a specific order. Players can buy a pack of five easy fatalities for $0.99, or 30 for $4.99.
