Got an app that now crashes on startup on all devices.

Contacted the developer on Twitter and they have no plans to update it. Boo.

Might try for a refund.

Why would you not update it? Seems odd

Thy make several games and apparently are already working on a new version, but the old one is now abandoned.

What's the app? I've not been able to get Super Hexagon to load all through the iOS 8 beta process, but now it works fine which I'm rather pleased about.

Piczle Lines. Free to download, but you pay for addon packs, which I've been buying regularly.

Don't suppose it works for you? I tried it on my iPad mini and iPhone 4S and rebooted both, but no dice.

Stops at the loading screen for a while and then crashes the app.

tweetbot turned into french (perhaps because i have a french keyboard installed to use the ' ç' ?)


ah, discovered it now.. apparently it added french as a second preference language (probably because of the keyboard), and thus everything which hasn't got a dutch version takes french before it uses english.... solved by removing it... wonder if I'll at italian to the languages, do prefer reading italian over english (no offense intended), but the translations often use much more words / characters than the english equivalents..

Rolled back my iPad to iOS 7.1.2.
It was running really badly on 8.

I'm waiting for the consensus to say it's safe before I even consider updating on the Air.

Updated my air and it's all fine but apart from the keyboard there's nothing much else so far that seems to be a vast improvement.

The 4/5 finger pinch close gesture to exit apps now seems to not work intermittently on the iPad mini.

are you saying it no longer works intermittently, or that it doesn't work some of the time?

Y'know what you can't do in iOS8? Stack apps vertically on a page, or indeed anywhere I want to shove them.

I don't get this iOS8. Presumably it's just mainly about the new phone. Ho-Hum.

updated via iTunes and the whole thing took less than an hour. Can't say I've noticed anything significantly different from ios7.

Not only have I rolled back my iPad, I think I'm going to go back to a 5S from a 6. It's just too large and slippery a shape to hold in one hand, and I know I'm only going to drop it all the time.
