Around the late seventies/early eighties someone shouted "Up the Cherries". Fan Trevor Dykes started shouting "In all departments" for no apparent reason and it caught on and remains today.

Well that was a pointless acronym that no one had heard of then. DYTA?

I hate acronyms. It took me ages to figure out SMH because I refuse to google stuff and I still don't get AFTK or something like that. Commonly found around RPG game discussion I think.

Anyway, Leicester, Leicester, Leicester, Leicester. The Leicester.

Full time and Leicester City FC ('football club') wins the day and remain top of the league. Thanks, in part, to Vardy and another player they have called Fucko.

Don't forget Mahrez !

Fantastic stuff from Leicester. I really am hoping they win the league as it will be a huge 'gob in the eye' for all of the over paid cunts the PL has.

This is what football is about, IMO.

Oh yeah, COYS !

As opposed the penniless, lovely chap that is Vardy?

Great table right now, with Spurts and Leicester right at the top... Leicester really played a sofisticated game against Man City.. really transforming them form "the small team that is this year's surprise' to proper title contenders..

Interesting point raised on Radio 4 this morning. If Everton ere to be taken over for £200MM, that would Blean that 14 Premier League clubs would be owned by American people/consortia. They could then use the 2/3rd majority rule to get rid of relegation.

Thereby killing off the english game forever. Maybe once the old-guard has died off at the FA, but I can't see anything like that happening for a long time.

What's stopping them doing that now, regardless of the nationality of owners? They're pretty much all foreign nationals, aren't they? Plus if they were going to do it it would have been done by now. Who wouldn't vote in self-interest?

The general consensus in America I've found is that they love the promotion/relegation system and wish their sports did it.

I'm not worried about us (didn't know I played for them etc) going down, but just to be sure I'll vote yes too.
