Springer spaniels are the BEST. They're dogs on speed.

You've clearly never seen my lurcher Daisy going flat out. She's a cross between a Ferrari and a hurricane.

Our office dog is a Boston Terrier and he's excellent, so I like those.

Cocker spaniels have not a brain in their heads. Daft as daft can be.

We've always had King Charles Cavaliers. This is Lucy on my Dad's lap. They both died on the same day


Other than that, Italian Greyhounds are lovely creatures.

Irish Jack Russell Terriers are best.

They are like normal Jack Russell Terriers but smaller.

I loved both of those dogs. They were always excellent company whilst braving the tyrannies of Superock with Julia Valet and random German satellite channels at 4am. Never complained, never caused a fuss, just wanted to be fed absolutely anything that you might have, lick where it might have once touched you on your hands, wrists, lap, and then maybe lick your mouth to finally be sure they'd got as much as possible. Sometimes, anyway, to my delight. Or so I remember.

I do not like dogs either. Cats are vastly superior. Apart from when they are waking you up for no reason at 5am.

I prefer dogs to cats as dogs are stupid but loyal.

Cats are too intelligent, and they know more than they're letting on.
