Nobody knows yet. Luckily our tickets aren't till August 10th, but it is pretty shocking behaviour for those affected.

Current theories are:
1) The set isn't ready
2) There was a legal challenge against their plan to take everyones mobile off them when they arrive.
3) Health and safety said no
4) They lost a load of council paperwork and the council said no

Luckily for everyone planning to go tonight, they said they would put out a statement at 11am today as to what happened and whether tonight is on.... which they didn't do and still haven't said anything.

It's all a bit of a secret really!

And now, according to twitter, the Olympic Park is being evacuated due to an unexploded WW2 bomb being found. Which just so happens to be the not-so-secret location of Hill Valley...

Their facebook page is a huge car crash at the mo.
It definitely seems like the set hadn't been finished off in time, and tonights show is definitely off as well.

It actually went ahead last night, which was a mild surprise

Dr SG and myself were seriously considering it, looks amazing, but we are forking out a shit load to do family weddings and a friends ordination so couldn't justify the expense. Hope you have a great time.

They do seem to be managing the issues with a total lack of competence, and I know they'll hide behind their T&Cs, but only offering a face value refund for people who may have been travelling from all over the country at great expense is piss poor.

It's not just the travelling - you're expected to go along in fancy dress, so many will need to spend money on clothes for it and may not be able to make one of the alternative dates.
