Hey internetters.

Has anyone done that thing where you sign your business up to Google My Business and then they send you a card in the post and you validate your address?

Isn't your business supposed to pop up on Google Maps after that?

I'm searching maps for Personal Injury and my facking business ain't popping up on the map. I'm searching PI Support and then it does. What's wrong with the internet - is it broken?

Yeah, it took a while though. I can't remember exactly but i'm pretty sure it was over a month before it popped up.

The real issue is getting your business off the map once it closes down...

Tony Benn's son has taken his father's renounced title, Viscount Stansgate, and hopes to become one of the elected hereditaries in the Lords. Writing sentences like that reminds me that I rather love the quirkiness of our constitution.

Interestingly (for me at least), the current Earl Attlee sits on the Tory benches.

What if, like the Pub Landlord, Dapper Laughs was meant to be all of those things, but the audience didn't understand?

Someone on Twitter asked him if he was playing a character - he said no, more an exaggeration of himself.

If you attempt to parody a group of reprehensible people, but instead end up drawing en masse approval from those people, then a) you might not be a very good comedian and b) you should probably change or stop your act before it starts to look like you are actively seeking the approval of said reprehensible people.

Notably, Warren Mitchell always struggled with this for his character Alf Garnett. But he made his personal feelings clear in out-of-character interviews and suchlike.

Al Murray has said pretty much exactly the same.

Tonight my team is in a work dodgeball tournament. This on its own is a bad idea, but to add to the fun we have a team uniform of black shorts, lime green wifebeaters, and headbands. Oh good god.

Dammit. I went to play the PS3 for the first time last night since I moved out of my ex's flat only to find the pad was dead. I did make sure to take a mini-USB cable from hers so I'd be covered for this eventuality but the controller won't charge through it. I can plug the pad in to the PS3 and play stuff that way (i.e. sitting about a foot from the TV which is how I finished Wolf Among Us last night) but I'm not playing anything else like that. So no I need to actually go and buy a mini-USB cable! A mini USB cable! I'll never use the bloody thing again after that! Fuck sticks.

Don't worry about it dude, I'll pick one up on my way through town today so I can play stuff this weekend and it's not like they cost much, it's just annoyance on principle. Thanks anyway though, that's very kind of you.
