Just to follow up on this, a couple of weeks ago I had an email from Photobox with one of their quite frequent offers, whereby you could purchase an A4 100 page photobook for £30, which is excellent value for money for comparable products elsewhere. I paid an extra £5 to have this upgraded to an A3 book and paid an extra £1 to have the logo removed (as it was for our wedding photos).

The book credit covered the book, which when brought out to the 100 A3 pages would have cost £163 (ouch - I doubt many people ever pay that full price, but the standard book has 24 pages - the rest are all purchased as extras). Anyway, for £36 I was happy, created the book over the space of a few evening sand ordered using the credit.

The book arrived today an is absolutely stunning in quality. Nice paper, beautiful sturdy hardback cover. The colours and print quality are amazing.

But the Photobox logo had not been removed, so there is a green 'Photobox' logo on the back cover. Obviously being our wedding Photos I was a bit disappointed, as it was something I had paid to have removed.

I dropped the Customer services dept an email, to let them know and see why it happened. I wondered what to do and if I should cover it with a sticker, or little plaque or something.

A couple of hours later and I have had an email back to say that they they were sorry and hopefully could help. They have given us the product credit to reorder, with £10 cash credit to ensure the removal of the logo and re-cover the postage!

What amazing customer service that is. I can barely believe how swift and painless that was to sort out. Absolutely top marks for quality and service.

This woman is known for being very organised (or rather static in her approach to things, unwilling to approach any change open-mindedly...) and my feeling is that she revels in her own importance and enhances that by pushing down those people around her.

Anyhoo, it did feel very empowering to be the better person, and politely explain not what she did wrong, but why it was unappreciated and what I would have preferred she had done as under the circumstances I was being bad-mouthed for something that it was agreed would not fall under our team to complete.

If an automated system responds to a request with an email and the email has a subject, "automated response 12345". Then in the text of the email it says, "Updates to this inquiry can be submitted by replying to this message.

Please do not make any changes to the subject header of this email."

When I reply to the email and it changes the subject to, "RE:automated response 12345". Have I changed the subject or not?

I think that's fine (most systems just look for the "automated response 12345" bit, and ignore anything else)

The other night, my internet stopped working.... Disaster.

I did the whole, switch the router off and back on again, and none of the wireless devices could find my home network, which - let's say - I had called 'Flis's House'. There were two new ones there though, one called Netgear and one called Netgear 5G. Both of which were unsecured and disappeared when I switched my router off so I clicked on the Netgear one, and it said "This network is new and needs to be set-up" So I gave it a new name 'Flis's network' and tried to connect.

I still have no internet. I can connect to the network but the router won't connect to the internet. The secure key password thing doesn't work either, it says "Password Mismatch" or something along those lines so I have to connect by pressing the button on the router.

What do I need to do to make it work...? Except set fire to everything and start all over again? My knowledge of setting up shit like this is limited to clicking "Next" when the wizard tells me to.

Something has happened which has reset your routers settings back to factory default.

You should have a bit of paper (or possibly email) somewhere from your ISP about setting up a router for the first time - it might need passwords and usernames to connect - thats what you need now.

If you cant find it then call (since the place you are has an ISP monopoly I assume that Hearthy may also be able to give you some advice about dealing with them)

You shouldn't actually have to change anything per se to connect here, but if the router's gone back to it's original settings then it'll have reverted to the default network name and password. As zaphod79 has said you should have that info either separately or, very often these days, stuck to the bottom of the router itself. The password you need should be called WPA Key or something similar.

If you're not seeing that default network name available to connect to then it would imply the router has lost even the default ISP settings. If that's the case just phone them up and tell them that because it's not worth buggering about with it when their own settings have been lost from it.

It's all right. The beer is a bit tasteless, fizzy CO2 beer rather than ale.
It is mostly a restaurant with a small bar attached, not the sort of place you would spend an afternoon playing games at all. (Unless it has changed loads!)

Well yes, that's what CAMRA are saying. Wheat beer isn't 'real ale'. Real ale doesn't really mean anything anymore. CAMRA have become the establishment that they originally were created to rail against.

Oh, there is no doubting CMARA are up their own asses, but to say that beers like Citra, Hophead and many many others are lacking in flavour is just silly.

Citra is an American pale ale made by a small brewery - a craft beer. Same with Hophead. Thanks for proving my point Bobby.

Citra won best beer at the GBBF, run by CAMRA. It is non-gassy and rather nice. You dismissed it because it is non-gassy; not by the size of the brewery.
